What are the Boundaries of a Marriage?

So now in KS we might have to watch another butchering of JW's character where he might suspect BW of infidelity. Joy!!!! But this brought a few questions to my mind and wanted to ask folks about it on the forum.

Preface by saying not a Bani bashing post just asking some questions.

During the whole divorce alimony fiasco we saw how Pushkar became BW's confidant. We knew nothing was happening and Jw knew nothing was happening between the two and they were just friends.

But I have a few questions. Would any husband or wife like their spouse running around the town at odd hours of the day and night with a person from the opposite sex? Would you like it if your spouse was sharing confidednces with this person and keeping you in the dark about important things pertaining to your life? Would you like it even if it is platonic for a member of the opposite sex taking your spouse to a hotel room if your spouse gets sick rather than calling you or some other family member (pushkar could have calledd massi, rano, adi)? Was Bani right in taking support of a man who had betrayed her husband so brutally?

Now in the current situation JW has seen Tarun cross limits in supporting Bani (Massi, adi were all supporting Bani but Tarun was pushing the separation more so even though he just met Bani and was in fact JW's BF) and he overheard Jigz talking to Tarun about him loving Bani and Tarun did not deny it. There is a frienship between BT and we know it is platonic and so does JW but now a seed has been planted in his mind.

Question:

What would you do if your spouse (you are struggling to get back your relationship with them) and BF (might have wrong intentions) are obviuosly keeping something from you - BT kept on shutting up as soon as JW showed up?

We know JW has always blindly trsuted Bani and we want him to go on doing it. But if you were a husband in JW's position where your current realtionship with wife is very very shaky, you have a BF who might have feeling for your wife, your wife and BF have formed a strong friendship and you can feel they are keepig something from you. What should the normal reaction be at such a situation?

my dear, you and me both know that just saying that is not going to stop your post from being misinterpreted!! 😕 😆

i think that the audience is very often too quick to judge characters based on the knowledge they are privy to from all sides, rather than looking at all things from the perspective of the character in question.

on the basis of what JW has seen so far, it would be unlike his character to suspect a B-T angle - he may suspect T of making a move, and would not be wrong in doing so, but would never suspect B of reciprocating.

however, we do not yet know what else the creatives are going to show us or him - circumstances may change, forcing him to believe the worst. we just have to wait and watch. 😕

Meg,

Re: Bani-Pushkar

You are absolutely correct on this and I have several times posted on the inappropriateness of Bani associating so closely with a person who had brutally backstabbed her hubby.

Same with Bani-Tarun. Tarun's relationship is strained and rather than talk to him in whispers, Bani must try to reconcile the two. Further, Bani must immediately speak to JW on the Sahil case.

Why does Bani think that JW cannot handle the truth about Sahil?

The real problem is that neither JW nor Bani have really learnt any lesson from the whole fiasco. They must communicate and stop keeping secrets from each other. If JW has any objections to Bani's friendship with TS or any reservations abiut TS, he must speak openly to Bani. Same with Bani, it was her banigiri which in the first place caused the collapse of her marriage but I dont think that fact has penetrated her head.

Great post!!
It would be perfectly natural for JW to suspect that something was up !! The only thing that would not be acceptable to me is if the Kreatives showed that JW suspected his wife of some illicit relationship with Tarun!!! Suspecting Tarun's motives is another matter especially since Tarun was warned about crossing his limits when the ONS came out!!!

If JW were to accuse Bani at this stage when he never wavered in his faith and trust in her despite the doctored photos of her and pushky it would be a total dessecration of his character and the attempt made at redeeming him by showing Pia drugged him will be futile!!!

What I would love to see is him in his RB avatar and locking horns with Tarun but never suspecting or accusing Bani!!!

It would be nice to see him in conflict over his jealousy and trust in his wife that she would never cross the limits of marriage!!!

I have a feeling JW is going to be framed for Sahil's murder and Bani (should) will stand by his side to prove his innocence seeking Tarun's help which will infuriate JW even more despite the innocence of the relationship especially from Bani's side!!! Would love to see Tarun revealed as the mastermind of eveything in order to eliminate JW to get Bani !!! JW finds out at some point and the climax is hhe will save Bani who will have been kidnapped by Tarun...and of course their reunion will be even more poignant with the arrival of Krishna!!!

How's that for imagination!!

Think any of it has a shot!!!

Anyway getting back to your post despite the shaky JB relationship one thing is clear on both sides that being the love they have for one another and that in order to save the other each is willing to inflict pain on themselves therefore questioning the faithfulness of Bani would be further butchering of JW's character!!!
Him becoming RB and bashing Tarun and suspecting his motives would be expected but his faith in Bani should not falter!!!!

Hope some of theis made sense!!!

Precisely my thoughts!!! Ashwini Yardi was mentioning that coinciding with the WC would be a major twist in KS. This could be it. And since JW would be going on leave, those 2 weeks could be tied up with JW being behind bars.

That was the only logical twist I could come up with in this illogical mess called Kasam Se.

I guess only time will tell what they plan to throw our way......

Incidentally JW being framed as Sahil's murderer could also act as a cause of split between Bani and Rano.

I think Rano is marrying Ranveer because she wants to stay in WM to catch the killer and thinks that marrying Ranveer will give her a stronger position to get justice for sahil.

Rano will completely go against JW and what remains to be seen is if Bani will support rano or JW. If Tarun is the mastermind behind it all than he will poison Bani and get her to support Rano. If Tarun is not the mastermind than he will fight for JW.

What might be really interesting story is if for some reason JW takes the blame thinking Bani was responsible (made to think so) and Bani supports rano and when the truth comes out it would be great great JB reunion.

Good point!!!

As long as Bani is shown to have full faith in JW's innocence -- the whole scenario if shown would be fun to watch!!!

Probably a man and woman who share a normal husband-wife might not like it if his wife goes out in odd hours. If Bani-Jai's marriage was just another normal marriage, Bani would not have gone out the whole in odd or even normal hours without letting Jai now. But Jai and Bani's relationship is very different. Moreover, Bani was not in talking terms with Jai, so expecting her to let him know where she is going is out of question. Given the circumstances and situations, even I wouldn't really let Jai know. 😃😆

Pri, Bani getting help from Pushkar is not wrong at all. Bani had no one else besides Pushkar whom she could talk to or ask to accompany her. Jai- she was not in talking terms. Adi, Massi, Anu – she did not want them to know as well, hence, she couldn't call him for help. Hence, pushkar was the only one. Besides, just because Pushkar betrayed Jai, it is not fair to say that Bani should not seek help and talk to him. In fact Pushkar has also betrayed Bani and if Bani wants to forgive and be friendly with Pushkar, there's nothing wrong. Pushkar has always been Bani's friend and she doesn't need to avoid a person just because the person has done something wrong to Jai. What would have been wrong is Bani inviting Pushkar to Jai's house and forcing Jai to talk to pushkar which Bani never did. Whom Bani wants to talk to is totally upto her. Just think about this B-P friendship and Bani getting help from Bani's perspective rather than from Jai's, you can the fairness. Just my opinion.😊

What would you do if your spouse (you are struggling to get back your relationship with them) and BF (might have wrong intentions) are obviously keeping something from you - BT kept on shutting up as soon as JW showed up? Obviously, I would not like it and will definitely confront my spouse about it later which is exactly what Jai has to do. 😊

We know JW has always blindly trusted Bani and we want him to go on doing it. But if you were a husband in JW's position where your current realtionship with wife is very very shaky, you have a BF who might have feeling for your wife, your wife and BF have formed a strong friendship and you can feel they are keepig something from you. What should the normal reaction be at such a situation? One of disappointment, anger but if I am like Jai who trusts his wife so much, then I wouldn't suspect my spouse for sure. I would be more angry at my spouse for keeping things from me but would hate the friend who has wrong intentions. I would also be internally conflicting if my spouse knows that her friend has wrong intention. 😊
