Do refrigerators work on battery?

While dead body being delivered to Razia seems to be an interesting twist, wondering how the dead body is protected from decaying in an unplugged refrigerator? Unless the body is in box of ice in side the fridge. I love thrilling twists but if they don't pay attention to basic logic the twist may lose its charm and end up as a senseless scene.
