FF: Kaun Kab Aur Kahaan (Part 2 on Pg 2!)

Hey guys, I wrote this story for a class a few weeks ago. It's basically a CID episode with all the characters we know and love. Its really long and I wrote it in four parts so I'll just present one right now. Please give me feedback. Anyway, hope you all like it! The English version is in the third post. Let me know which one you like better and next time maybe I will only post one.

Part 1:

Jaise hi CID ko Payal ki maut ki khabar mili, woh fauran hi ravaana ho gaye. ACP Pradhyuman apne saath Abhijeet, Daya aur Muskaan ko Taj Hotel le gaye, haadse ke baare mein pata lagaane aur Payal ki laash ko laane.

Taj Hotel ke saamne logon ki bheed thi. Beech mein jaa ke dekha to hotel ke maalik Faisal Qureshi kuch reporters ke saath baatein kar rahe the. Paas mein ek bees-baees saal ki ladki ki laash padi hui thi aur uske chaaron taraf khoon tha. ACP ko dekh ke Qureshi Sahib un ke paas aaye. Bataane lage ke Payal hotel ke kamre mein thehri hui thi aur subah ko kuch raah chalne waalon ne use apni balcony se girte hue dekha. Payal ki jeb mein unko uski photo ID mili jis pe uska ghar ka pata bhi tha. (edit: 3/13) Laash ki kuch tasveeren lene ke baad, ACP ne Abhijeet ke saath usko post mortem ke liye Doctor Nayla ke paas bhej diya. Muskaan aur Daya ko Payal ke ghar jaane ko kaha, us ke parivaar waalon ko uski maut ki khabar dene aur us ke baare mein aur jaankaari haasil karne.

Qureshi Sahib se ACP ko pata chala ke Payal ek raat pehle hi hotel ka kamra lene aayi thi aur 540 waale kamre mein thehri thi. Kamre ki chaabi bhi Qureshi Sahib ne unko de di. Kamre ki talaashi mein madad ke liye ACP ne Fredricks ko bula liya. Wahaan unko Payal ke purse ke alaava kuch nahin mila. Bas yeh dekh liya ke balcony ka darwaaza thoda sa khula hua tha. Is se ACP ko khayaal aaya ke shaayad Payal khud jaake wahaan se kood gayi hogi. Payal ke purse mein do sau rupiye the aur ek kaaghaz ka tukda tha jis pe likha tha "Anand Kapoor, Taj Hotel, saat baje". Fingerprinting karne ke baad ACP aur Fredricks phir se neeche chale gaye.

ACP ne Qureshi Sahib se poochha ke woh kisi Anand Kapoor ko jaante hain, lekin unhon ne yeh naam kabhi suna nahin tha. Is naam ka koyi unke hotel mein bhi nahin ruka tha. Fredricks ne restaurant mein jaake wahaan ke waiters ko tasveer dikha ke poochha ke unhon ne Payal ko wahaan dekha tha. Ek ne bataaya ke woh kal raat kisi lambe chashma pehnne waale aadmi ke saath khaana khaana aayi thi. Yeh sab likh kar Fredricks ACP ke saath wapis office chala gaya.

Wahaan Daya aur Muskaan unka intezaar kar rahe the. Daya ne bataaya ke Payal apni vidhva maa aur chhote bhai ke saath rehti thi aur Industrialist Jai Mehta ke office mein kaam karti thi. Uski maa ka kehna tha ke chaar din pehle usko bila waje kaam se nikaal diya gaya tha. Usi din se usne naukri dhoondni shuru kar di thi. Woh Taj Hotel bhi kisi se kaam ke silsile mein baat karne hi gayi thi. Raat ke nau baje us ne apni maa ko phone karke kaha tha ke use ghar aane mein der ho jaayegi aur woh befikar hoke so jaayen. Us ke baad kabhi ghar nahin lauti.

Jaise hi Daya ne yeh kahaani khatam ki, Abhijeet kamre mein aaya. Us ne bataaya ke jab woh laash ko Doctor Nayla ke havaale kar chuka tha, to usne Muskaan ko phone kiya tha. Muskaan ke kehne pe Abhijeet Mehta Industries gaya tha, yeh pata lagaane ke Payal ko kaam se kyoon nikaala gaya tha. Mehta Ji ne use bataaya ke Payal ko kaam se nahin nikaala tha, balke woh apni marzi se chhod ke gayi thi. Yeh sun ke ACP soch mein pad gaye ke Payal ki maa ne jhoot kaha ya Payal ne apni maa se.

Sab isi soch mein the jab phone ki ghanti ne unko chaunka diya. Muskaan ne phone uthaaya. Qureshi sahib ka phone tha aur woh unhen ek nayi khabar dena chahte the. Jis ladke ne Payal ko kamre ki chaabi di thi, uska naam Rahul tha. Woh aaj bemaari ki wajah se kaam par nahin aaya tha, lekin us ne abhi abhi TV pe Payal ki maut ke baare mein suna. Rahul ka kehna tha ke jis ladki ne Payal ke naam se kamra liya tha, us ki shakal woh nahin thi jis ko TV par dikhaaya ja raha tha. Woh ladki koyi aur thi. Jab Muskaan ne sab ko yeh baat bataayi to woh hairaan ho gaye. Koyi aur ladki Payal ke naam se kamra kyoon legi?

ACP Rahul se milne jaane hi waale the ke Doctor Nayla ne sab ko forensic lab mein bula liya. Unhon ne kaha ke ab tak jo sab is maut ke baare mein soch rahe the woh sab ghalat tha. Payal upar se gir ke nahin mari thi balke jab woh giri thi to pehle se hi mari hui thi. Uski ragon mein Doctor Nayla ko zeher mila aur post mortem ke mutabiq us ki maut subah nahin hui thi, raat gyaarah baje hui thi.

Sab sochne lage ke yeh case kitna ajeeb hota ja raha tha. Paayal ki maa ne bataaya ke use kaam se nikaala gaya tha, lekin Mehta Ji ne kaha ke woh khud gayi thi. Naam to hotel ke register mein Payal ka tha, lekin jisne likha tha woh keh raha tha ke ladki koyi aur thi. Payal balcony se aaj subah giri thi lekin uski maut raat gyaarah baje hui thi. Yeh to zaahir ho chuka tha ke kisi ne Payal ko maar ke us ki laash balcony se phenk di thi. Lekin qaatil ka pata chalne se pehle aur kitne raaz khulne waale the, yeh to waqt hi bata sakta tha.

As soon as the CID team received news of Payal's death, they immediately departed. ACP Pradhyuman took Abhijeet, Daya and Muskaan with him to the Taj Hotel, to find out about the incident and to bring Payal's body back.

In front of Taj Hotel, there was a crowd of people. In the center of this crowd, the CID team saw the hotel's owner Faisal Qureshi talking to some reporters. Nearby, there was the body of a girl about 20 years of age with blood all around her. When he saw ACP, Qureshi Sahib came up to him. He began to tell that Payal had been staying in one of their hotel rooms, and that morning, some passerbies had seen her fall from her balcony. In Payal's pocket, they found her photo ID which also had her address on it. (edit: 3/13) After taking some pictures of the body, ACP sent it with Abhijeet to Doctor Nayla for post mortem. He told Muskaan and Daya to to go to Payal's house to tell her family about her death and to find out more about her.

Qureshi Sahib told ACP that Payal had come to the hotel just one night earlier and had stayed in room 540. He also gave ACP the keys for the room. In order to help search the room, ACP called Fredricks to the scene. In the room, they found only Payal's purse. They noticed that the door to the balcony was slightly open. This caused ACP to speculate that perhaps Payal went there herself and jumped off. In Payal's purse, they found 200 rupees and a piece of paper that said "Anand Kapoor, Taj Hotel, 7 o'clock". After checking for fingerprints, ACP and Fredricks went downstairs.

ACP asked Qureshi Sahib whether he knew any Anand Kapoor, but he had never heard this name before. No one by this name had stayed in the hotel either. Fredricks went to the restaurant, showed Payal's photo and asked the waiters if they had seen her there. One said that she had come the previous night to eat dinner with a tall man who wore glasses. After writing all this, Fredricks returned to the office with ACP.

There, Daya and Muskaan were waiting for them. Daya reported that Payal lived with her widowed mother and younger brother and worked at the office of industrialist Jai Mehta. Her mother said that four days prior, she had been fired from work for no reason. Since that day, she began to look for a new job. She had gone to Taj Hotel to talk to someone about a job offer. At 9PM, she called her mom and told her that she would be late coming home and there was no need to worry about her. After that, she never returned.

As soon as Daya finished this story, Abhijeet entered the room. He told them that after he had given the body to Doctor Nayla, he had called Muskaan. She told him to go to Mehta Industries and find out why Payal had been fired. Mehta Ji told Abhijeet that Payal had not been fired. She had made her own decision to leave. After hearing this, ACP began to wonder whether Payal's mother had been lying or had Payal lied to her mother.

Everyone was thinking about this when the ringing phone startled them. Muskaan answered it. It was Qureshi Sahib calling and he wanted to give them new information. The man at the reception desk who had given Payal the keys to the hotel room was named Rahul. He had taken a sick leave today, but called in as soon as he saw the news of Payal's death on TV. Rahul told Qureshi Sahib that the girl who had registered in the hotel as Payal had a completely different face from the girl they were showing on TV. She was a different person. When Muskaan told this to everyone, they were astonished. Why would some other girl reserve a room in Payal's name?

ACP was just about to go meet Rahul when Doctor Nayla called everyone into the Forensic lab. She told them that whatever they all were thinking about this death was all wrong. Payal did not die by falling from the balcony. She was already dead when she fell from there. Doctor Nayla detected poison in her veins and according to the post mortem, she had died at around 11PM, not in the morning.

Everyone began to marvel at how strange this case was becoming. Payal's mother said she was fired, but Mehta Ji said she left work. The name in the hotel registry was Payal's, but the person who wrote it said that it was a different girl. Payal fell from the balcony in the morning, but she had died at 11PM the previous night. It had become apparent that someone had killed Payal and thrown her body off the balcony. But only time could tell them how many more secrets were about to be revealed during their search for the killer.

Hey Suhana wonderful Imagination. Ane waale kal mein kya tum CID mein story writer banna chahti ho kya. You have damn good imagination skills and everything line to line, dialogue to dialogue is said as it is said or shown in CID. So when are the next episodes coming. I am waiting to read them.
