Chapter 1

I wish you would have been here; right next to me to support me through. I'm extremely nervous' she mumbled looking at the empty sky, with tearful eyes.

Astha,' called out Kalindi (Astha's mother)

Quickly she wiped her tears, and looked back she passed a sad yet a smile, that glowed her face. She walked towards her mother, hugging her from behind. Ayi, I'm very scared about tomorrow for some reason.'

Kalindi unwrapped Astha's arms from her neck and slowly made her sit on the bed next to her. Astha, you shouldn't be scared at all your already married, at that moment you were fearless and now?' she paused her indirect taunt towards Astha.

Kalindi smiled and continued, 'Aarey don't be sad, everything will be fine. We are here to support you; I'm just worried for your post marriage life.'

Ayi don't worry everything will be fine, I assure you. Sholk would be there with me through thick and thin.' She said it with a smile and pride.

Her mother, smiled at her daughters confidence. Yet, she had a little fear in a corner of her heart and soul._­

Astha walked around her room becoming nostalgic with every non-living thing she had present. It wasn't the pain of leaving them, but the pain of not seeing them after 24hours.

Her phone ran, her lips curved into a smile. It might be sholk, she talked out loud.'

Astha's mother saw the excitement in her eyes, so she soon wrapped up Astha's packing and left her room.

'Hi' she said, while the first thing he said was I miss you, and I want to see you right now'

'Right now' she replied in a shocked tone, though it wasn't new for her. No this can't happen, you know it very well Sholk' she informed him.

Well I really don't care you see. I'm right in front of your house.' Said Sholk.

No Sholk go away, we can't see each other until tomorrow please' she requested.

'I want to see you, means I want to see you.' Sholk firmly said. Astha slowly walked towards her window and peeked outside.

She gasped and in a reflex hid herself as soon as she saw him, Sholk was staring on the ground then. He kept on requesting, Astha please show me your face once, or I'll come upstairs'

She smiled as he kept on requesting her to show her face to him. As soon as Astha said 'No' Sholk hung his phone up, he started walking towards her house. He stormed into her house, at the same time Astha peeked on the road and Sholk was no-where to be seen.

Sholk was in Astha's room, as her door sprung opened. 'Sholk' she gasped loudly as her back was facing him. She knew he was there, she felt his presence.

Sholk had a smirk playing on his face; he walked towards her, whilst she tried to stay still. Her fist crumbling her top, as she was a little nervous.

This is not right Sholk' said Astha in a broken tone. This is right Astha, he said as he hugged her from behind, we are already married, tomorrow we're formally (officially) getting married for the society and our parent's sake!'

But our heart, soul and we were pronounced as one; the day, we married in the temple.' With the blessings of your God.' Sholk comforted as he explained it to Astha. His arms, tightly wrapping around her.

Astha smiled, with her eyes closed as she felt complete in his arms.

Sholk, aap apna naam dhoondo na' said Astha as she lifted her palms over her forehead. Sholk searched and searched, but it didn't take time for him to find his own name on there. This wasn't new to him. Playing games was his best pass times of all. He thought to himself as he smirked.

Astha, turned around quicker than a lightning bolt and hugged him. Sholk at the same time closed his eyes, resting his chin on her head he hugged her back feeling complete. There was something that kept them both attached even though there was a small clinch in his heart.

As both of theirs eyes were closed, Astha whispered Sholk I think you should leave now' without uttering another word Sholk with his eyes closed kissed Astha's forehead and left the room. They were so close that not even air could pass through them, yet so far away because one's eyes couldn't catch the love of the other pair.

Sholk and Astha's heart felt they have been shattered into pieces, just cause of that.
