My guess: Shiv is Meenu's son

The mystery of Shiv's past combined with Meenu's missing child makes me believe Shiv is Meenu's son.

Mahi is elder to the missing child, so Meenu had Mahi for her when she gave birth to second child. Ira would have been pregnant with her first child. Ira may have lost her first child during childbirth, while Meenu went on to give birth to a healthy child, Shiv. Alok and Daddu may have hatched a plan and switched two babies around, since Meenu has a child to call her own, whereas Ira would be shattered by the dead baby news.

It solves both mysteries, but what is the point of all this? So what if Shiv is Meenu's son? They all live under the same roof anyway.

i remember one scene post 6 months leap where anandi and ira are forcing Shiv to have breakfast but meenu simply packs the tiffin and tell him to hv when free this makes ira angry and she scolds her saying i know my son well he will not eat but meenu confidently says he will .in that particular scene some tension was shown between meenu and ira as both love shiv but bv tried to show some suspense also.
