I'm not a regular here but take a peek at Sakshi's updates & I think that she does a wonderful job of updating. Well, If you don't like Sakshi's update don't read it. Nobody is forcing you to read it. Do as you please, and try to treat everyone else as if they are individuals with a right to their own opinion, and refrain from insulting them. NO ONE will ever have the same opinion as you, so just relax and mind your own business. Maybe try to be polite, too. Maybe your own self worth will start to increase!

It is really sad that masses do not understand music & are getting carried away by Qazi's colorful drama or nautanki on stage & that's why he is getting so many votes. Shakespeare had rightly said....."The character of the mob is fickle"!

My viewes on FG...............

The reality craze is in full force now. FG is a lame attempt towards that. FG thrives on three primary themes: Conflict, Competition and Transformation. The producers of these shows know what works, and it's not a bunch of roommates sitting around singing na na karte pyar tumhe se kar baithe. The casting is done with the goal of creating drama whether it's infighting or a dramatic transformation!

I think there is an element of exploitation in mainstream reality TV, and I think that teens don't see it or really experience the full impact until the show airs. Teens don't get the implications of being on television in a format where people can start message boards and rip their real character to shreds. They are just figuring out how to deal with the real drama in their lives never mind the articially induced drama created by TV producers!

Very well written and I agree with every word. Just wanna add some.....I have commented before but many ppl didn't like and took it very personally.......that the public really have no music sense otherwise they wouldn't vote for undeserving contestants again and again. Also, somewhere someone posted that his 3 yr old kid shouts QAZI when he performs.......I wanna know who has told this lil kid abt QAZI? This proves that the WORD of MOUTH is working very well among these voters not the PERFORMANCE and SINGING talent which is (oops WAS) the main theme of this show. Teenagers and kids are voting on this show and that is really PATHETIC cus their decision will TORTURE serious music lovers in furure.
