Arnav refuses to answer any of his family's questions and locks himself in his room. Nani and Anjali berate Khushi for demeaning the sanctity of marriage. Arnav tells Khushi that she will have to live in his house as his wife for six months. Manorama insults the Gupta family for Khushi's actions. Madhumati and Garima bless Payal and ignore Khushi before leaving the Raizada's house. Khushi cries when Madhumati declares that she has once again proved that she is not a member of their family.
