When asked if reel-life moms play unreal characters, the much-adored Gomzi of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is quick to stand up for his "mom" Tulsi.
Says Sachdev, "I feel that the characters on-screen are quite real. The fact that they are so popular proves this fact. Sometimes, the goodness as well as evil acts need to be exaggerated on TV to convey a message."
Speaking about Tulsi's character, Sumeet says that at times the character seems too patient. He explains, "However, she also admonishes her children for doing wrong things. But it would be foolish to compare a reel character to a real one," he says.
On Mother's Day, Sumeet says, "I don't believe in celebrating any of these days. I don't think it is necessary to single out a day to tell your mother how much you love her."
