Truly he is man of action and not only words.
Many heroes or heroines that i have seen in soaps or films or read in books are people of just words. They all make claims that they will do this and that but when it comes to doing anything they dont. But Bheeshm proved that he isnt man of just words but of action as well
1)Whne stayvati's drunkard son made a mistake he didnt ignore it instead he beat the hell out of him
2)When shakuni was trying to manipulate dhridhrashtra into declaring duryodhan as a crowned price he stopped it.
3)When he came to know about shakuni and duryodhan's attempt to kill Bheem he didnt ignore it but demanded justice and when he didnt get it in return took two promises from dhridhrashtra(indirectly he got what he wanted) and kicked shakuni out .In one of the previous episodes he warned shakuni not to plan agianst his family or else there will be consequences and well yes there were.
So he stayed true to his words by taking action like saying dont mess with my family in such a subtle yet threatening way.
But my questiosn is how will this bheeshm turn into bheehsm who dint do anything after lakshagarah, who didnt do anything when pandvas got khandavprast, who didnt say anything when his daughter inlaw was being insulted. He is shown as such a strong character but how will CV's turn him into the Bheeshm who didnt say anyhting in the above incidents

Sabhyata, Bheeshm stayed strong till the end. But unfortunately when the evil gains more power, the good ones take a beating in the process until Good finally overcomes the bad. That is what happens.

Currently, Dhridhrashtra has only Shakuni by his side. His sons are young and they have no power. At this juncture, Hastinapur still to some extent had the good fortune wherein Dhridhrashtra with or without actually wanting it, had to listen to Bheeshm and Vidur on many matters.

But as the princes grow up and when they return home after Gurukul, Dhridhrashtra got his side of people to support, instigate and make him make decisions overriding those of Bheeshm and Vidur. With Duryodhana and his brothers to his side, and with Shakuni making a comeback, Dhridhrashtra who is currently outnumbered will gain strength..

Bheeshm and Vidur were just simply outnumbered when it came to the scenarios you mentioned. Both Bheeshm and Vidur will be slighted, their opinions rudely ignored once Duryodhan comes back. As King Dhridhrasthra would do nothing but stay silent and pretend nothing happened. And as King, he reigned supreme.

Also, Duryodhan and Shakuni would always come up with the arguments that supported their actions however falsely they had to represent the facts. Dhridhrshtra like he did with those fishermen would side the Kauravas and not consider what Bheeshm or Vidur would say.

It is really sad the way it happened. But MB war had a good many people on the side of Kauravas only because of the fact that they bound themselves with Duty and Dharam to take orders from their king Dhrid and not because they actually supported it.

he even ruined gandhari's life by marrying her off to dhritarashtra.

Bheeshm was also human. He made mistakes but he was a great man because he acknowledged them and was ready to face the consequences of his actions. That is what made him different.

Every person in MB had one of more failings, not just the bad guys. Yudhistir was too fair and too peaceful, Bheeshma was too blinded about the need of his Kuru clan, Bheem was too angry and quick to think of consequences, so on and so forth..

They were all acknowledged because they rose tall inspite of these failings and not because they pretended that they had no faults. That is why Bheeshm was called as the Pitamaah. He was a fair man and he acknowledged the error of his own actions too..

Bheeshm made mistakes but it was only for his family.I mean he truly did dedicate his life and all his actions to his kingdom and family whatever he did right or wrong was for the benefit of his family and kingdom not for himself but only his family who werent related to him by blood but by love and duty.
I just wish that like in today's epsiode he took a strong stand against what shakuni and duryodhan did he should have done that in other incidents as well that will take place in future but like justlikethat said he was outnumbered or there was lack of support .

Bhishma's actions truly reflected his love for the kingdom and family. I'm not saying he didn't commit mistakes. He did, because he was a human bound with the vows he took. Also, he let Amba go to Shalva after she revealed the truth to him in Hastinapur.

What did Shakuni do for his beloved sister? Became the reason of the death of her 100 sons?

About Dhrit, he did everything wrong in his Duryodhan moh which became the kingdom's curse. Weren't the pandavas a part of his family? A man who fails to take accurate actions just for the sake of his demonic son can't be appreciated.

well there is no denying what Bheeshm did with ambika and ambalika was wrong none of the MB characters were perfect they all made mistakes so did Bheeshm. But he still largely dedicated his life to his family and kingdom he did what he thought was the best for his family
When he married Gandhari to dhridhrashtra becuase he wanted 100 sons for kuruvansh yes maybe he was unfair with Gandhari but he wanted many heirs for his kingdom what he did thus was the greator good of his kingdom.Dhridhrashtra and shakuni did it for their personal satisfaction or personal vengence not for the greator good

Also, Bhishma was destined to live with the curse he received in his Vasu form.

First of all, each and every character in MB are flawed. But the amount of sins that these characters have committed are different. For example to one extreme we find people like Shakuni, Duryodhana etc and on the other end we have people like Bheesma and may be under some circumstances Lord Krishna himself😉.
Bheesma had to suffer life long for one fatal oath😲 that he took and at that moment he thought by giving happiness to his father he is following dharma but little did he think about the consequences😭.
So all his good deeds or the sins he committed life long were indirectly because of the oath which included that he is going to serve and fight for the kingdom of Hastinapur under all circumstances.
