some people think elli just cant understand hindi infront of salman, she definately knows hindi but she is not faking anything infront of salman ,hindi is not her first language she is bound to not understand certain sentence or words.like many people first language is hindi but they still speak english but still some of them dont understand certain sentence or words that doesnt means they r faking it similarly elli isnt faking it.as far live feed goes people claim she speaks hindi fluentl y really i have also seen her many times in a day where she get stuck with hindi and then housemate have too expalin her and mind u salman is not there..actually what elli speaks is hinglish she whenever starts conversation in hindi after talking few words she goes back to english.

as far as fluency goes if elli talks in english she how confidently and fastly she finished sentence, but when she speaks in hindi just she mostly stucks in between and start speaking in english again. so in my opinion she is not faking language issue.

She's not faking... it's just one more jealous statement from Kamya and company. As it is, the degree of comfort she has gained in Hindi is praise-worthy.

Even Sofiya isn't very comfortable in Hindi. Last season's Karishma wasn't very fluent in Hindi either. And these are people from the subcontinent who, at a minimum, grew up in a family that spoke a mother tongue (I guess Urdu for Sofiya and Gujarati for Karishma) deriving from the same roots as Hindi. A lot of NRIs watch Bollywood movies, so if these two did, then that would be even more exposure.

Elli, I am assuming had none of that and still manages to speak reasonably well. However, to claim that she knows Hindi perfectly and is faking it on purpose when she stumbles is just being downright mean. I would like to see how well Kamya/Pratyusha would fare on a Swedish reality program.

Couldn't have said it better myself even if they did live for a year in sweden 😆

Can I just also commend Elli today when everybody took the wrong meaning out of the word "setting" that Andy used - Elli didn't retaliate or say something mean back to them (i mean kya neechi soch hain). If it was in jest maybe but then things went to another level =/ Anyways, Elli maintained her dignity and class.

I mean seriously Kamya ji - "setting" - gandi soch and even more gandi to keep repeating it 🥱
