The almost finalised actress was apparently replaced at the last minute and Rubina Dilaikhas been brought in
Actress Shivshakti Sachdeva, who was all set to step into Giaa Manek's shoes " as Jeannie in telly show Jeannie Aur Juju " is no longer a part of it. Rubina Dilaik, last seen in Punarvivaahand Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev, has been finalised for the role instead.
Says a source from the set of the show, "Shivshakti was perfect for the role, but we realised that she looked younger in front of Ali Asgar, the male lead of the show. Rubina, who was the first one to be approached to replace Giaa, has been roped in finally."
However, another source from the production house maintains, "That's not the reason why Shivshakti was replaced. Rubina was our first choice and we decided to go ahead with her."
It is to be remembered that Rubina had quit Punarvivaah and the makers had roped in Parul Chauhan to replace her. With Rubinareplacing Giaa, all we can say is, history is repeating itself.
Rubina remained unavailable for comment
This show that rubina is going to be in will be ending in few months time.
