Banned from Wankhede, Shah Rukh Khan likely to watch Sachin Tendulkar's Kolkata match

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is an ardent fan of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, plans to watch the cricketing legend's second last Test at Kolkata.

Since Shah Rukh Khan is banned from entering Wankhede stadium in Mumbai (following an alleged scuffle with the ground staff there), he will try and catch Sachin's match at Eden Garden in Kolkata.

"I will go on November 10. I am going to Kolkata for a film festival and I will try and attend the test match there. I will see if I can reach, land up there and wish him," Shah Rukh Khan said.

"There are some places (Wankhede stadium) where they don't allow even Shah Rukh Khan to go. You wait three hours for me out of love, there are people who don't want me," he added.

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had expressed his disappointment over Sachin Tendulkar's announcement of retirement.

"When I heard about it I was in Australia... I learned about it a little late...I felt bad. He has taken the decision as he understands sports better. He did a lot for cricket. He should take rest, relax and enjoy with family," the actor had said.

It doesnt matter. First Sachin should stay on to bat. 😆

If only old actors would do the same. Now only if SRK would retire from main roles and stick to character roles. Can't see him romancing 20 something yr olds.

Sorry, I don't quite follow cricket much. Is Sachin's last match on November 10th? Does anyone know what time? I really want to watch it.

Phew ! The match at Cal ended on 3rd day itself. SRK is banned from Wankhede , but he can buy special 10-gram gold coin (with Sachin's (his favorite icon) image on one side and MCA ( his nemesis -who banned him) logo on the other side.
