Arnav sat on the edge of the bed with a photo frame in his hand. He looked at the photo with questioning eyes and caressed the face of the person in the frame.

"Why di?!!" asked Arnav Singh Raizada, who thinks that he writes his own destiny but was betrayed by his own sister, Anjali Shyam Jha. She had left him alone, alone in this world, just like his Maa.

"Why you did this, di? Why you left me? Don't I mean anything to you? You didn't even think about me, did you? You left me! Just like Maa did without thinking about me and you followed her. How can you do this, di? You had promised me that you will not leave me, haven't you? Than how can you leave me, di?Nobody understands me, di! Nobody! Not even Nani! She thinks I am a heartless person! But you tell me di, what should I do? What she expects me to do? I have promised you di that I will take care of Abeer! I will give him everything! He will get everything just like any other kid! He will get a father and I will also give him a MOTHER! I am only thinking about Abeer, di ! Then why Nani thinks that I am doing wrong? She told me that she would have left me! How can she tell that, di? But if she thinks that by telling all this she can stop me than she is wrong! I will do exactly what I have planned! I will marry, di! I will! Not to bring a WIFE in by life but to bring a MOTHER in Abeer's life. He will not be deprived of anything. I will buy anything for him. Anything! Even a MOTHER " let out Arnav in front of the photo of his deceased sister with tears shimmering in his eyes. He is a selfish man! A very selfish! He only wants happiness for his family. Which now includes only his Nani and his Nephew. He has promised to his di, who was at death's door that he will love her Son as his own and will give him all happiness. And now he is all determined to give the most important thing in kid's life, a MOTHER. And if that means buying a Mother than he will! No one can stop him!

At the same time there was another broken soul in the same house, sharing her grief with the same person.

"He is not understanding, Anjali! He thinks, what he is doing is right! He is going to marry that girl to bring a Mother in Abeer's life! He will never consider her as his Wife. How can he marry a girl if he will not give her, her rights? He will not give her a husband's love, he will not treat her as his wife, and most importantly he will not give her, her own FAMILY. He will not give her, her own kids! Then how can I agree with him, Anjali? He is going to ruin a girl's life. It's every girls dream, Anjali to get married, to get her husband's love, to have her own kids but I know my grandson! He will not give her anything! Because he thinks that he can buy anything and here he is buying a MOTHER'S LOVE for his nephew. I don't know, Anjali what to do to stop him? But I will try my best to mend few things. I will not allow him to inflict injustice on that poor girl!" cried Nani in front of her granddaughter's photo but now she is determined that she will not allow his grandson to walk on an innocent girl's dream. She knows that she can't stop her grandson but she will try, try till her last breath to make him understand. This time she has lost the battle against her grandson but this is not going to repeat always. She is Arnav Singh Raizada's Nani and she knows what she should do first! He wants a contract marriage, don't he? Ok, so now Deviani Singh Raizada will give him exactly a contract marriage.

Deviani Singh Raizada stood from her bed and picked her room's intercom.

"Hello, Aman, Nani here! Can you give me the address of the hospital where Khushi's Buaji is admitted...Ok thank you Aman" with that Deviani Singh Raizada ended the call.

"Arnav Singh Raizada! I will give you a contract marriage!" said Deviani Singh Raizada in a determined voice.

Khushi stood in front of her Buaji's room. What she will tell her Buaji? She can't tell her what she is going to do inorder to get money for her surgery. No she can't tell her the truth. Buaji is not in a condition to know all this. But...but what will she tell her?...she will have to think something...yes she will think of something. With that thought Khushi opened the door and slowly took steps towards her Buaji's bed.

Buaji opened her eyes sensing someone's presence and her lips broke into a smile seeing who the person is.

Where has my baby, gone? I was waiting for you" asked Buaji , with love. And made some place on her left side of bed so that her baby can slip in. Khushi well known to that gesture obliged and slipped beside her Buaji and circled her arm on her Buaji's round waist.

"Nowhere, Buaji! I was having some work to finish by today so I got late" replied Khushi in a sad voice not liking that she was lying to her Buaji

"I have become a burden on you, haven't I?" asked Buaji in a pain filled voice, pain of seeing her baby all worried and that too because of her.

"Buaji!!! How can you say that? You are not a burden on me, do you get that? If you will repeat this again than I will not talk to you!" chided Khushi and tightened her hold on Buaji's waist.

"Oh! You will not talk to me? For how much time? Let me guess..hmmm...for two minutes...no for three minutes...max to max five minutes! "chuckled Buaji.

"Buaji? You are making fun of me? I will not talk for...for...for whole one hour" said Khushi .

"Hey Devi Maiya!! That's long! No no I will not repeat that again! How can I live without listening to my baby's voice? " quipped Buaji.

"That's better! " replied Khushi.

"Buaji??" called Khushi after few moments of silence.

"Hmmm?" replied Buaji.

"Buaji do you remember the lullaby you use to sing for me?" after a positive reply from Buaji Khushi continued again "can you sing that for me? The original one! Not the one which you had altered for me.The one for boys!" asked Khushi.

"For boys? Why Khushi?" asked Buaji, confused at Khushi's demand.

"Just like that, Buaji! Please sing na?" requested Khushi.

"Ok... ok! I am singing... happy?" replied Buaji with a smile and started singing the lullaby for Khushi.

But instead of feeling drowsy this time Khushi paid attention to each and every word of the lullaby and memorized each word.

She will need this lullaby now!
