Rahim-Jalal-Choti Shezaadi

Why does he not have friends? What about some ministers children being his playmates? I had read that Akbar wanted Salim to have lots of friends so all his foster brothers, akbar's foster brothers kids and ministers children would come to play with him at agra fort. Why not allow some kids to play with Rahim too? No wonder Khan-e-khana became a poet being so lonely in that agra fort. Apart from Rahim i have not seen a single child in that agra fort till date.

I want choti shezadi and Rahim to become friends and play with each other around the fort. During lunch and dinner i want them to fight on who shall sit next to shahenshah jalal. At night they should fight over which story jodha will tell them. I think Rahim has no childhood at all. Jalal as his atalik and atagah(foster father) is too busy in court and his begum's kitchen politics and forgot about Rahim

Even Adham and Javeeda do not have kids with whom Rahim can play.

Another thing i observed Jalal was playing and telling stories so nicely with his saalis but with Rahim no such things. What about playing with Rahim shahenshah jalal? I do not understand why Jalal-Rahim relation is so formal with him calling his step father as shahenshah instead of chotte abu jaan or whatever they call a foster father? When jodha's sisters can call him jijasa why so much formality with a kid who is like your own son? And i have not seen a single scene of jalal playing with rahim or telling him stories or teaching him some thing(ok i know he is not educated but a father can teach his son small things about life, court etc). Please can we have some father-son bonding scenes.

At the way jalal-rahim relation is being potrayed i think salim-jalal relation shall also be very formal and distant too. Like i had read that jalal had no time to spend with salim and his other children as he was busy in wars, court etc(which we understand but child do not). That was one major issue why his sons were not close to him and were influenced by their friends and mentors and into heavy drinking and opium addiction and rebellion etc. Because when parent do not have time for kids, they will search for a family in their friends and mentors who may not exactly be their real well wishers and take advantage of the situation.

Jalal and Jodha both must realize that a parent role start after giving birth to a child. A child must be brought up feeling loved and belonging and with right values so that they grow up to be responsible citizens. Yes Jehangir had lost his way what with his addictions and rebellion etc but somewhere i think it was his parents fault. If only salim lost himself we could have said one bad apple in family but murad and daniyal also were lost causes. So was their sister aram who was too haughty and voilent by nature. So fault definetly was with their upbringing and their parents for sure. But we can only guess not know where it went wrong.

But now jalal's kingdom is not that big so he can take some time out for Rahim atleast. He must have that is why rahim did not have vices like his other sons. So CVs please give Rahim some playmate.
