I'm breaking up with you Sharon!" he said as she stood there numb with tears damping her cheeks. She didn't know how to react. She begged for a last chance but he was adamant. He was hurt deeply. The damage was beyond repair. Nothing could shake him, not even her tears.As she left dejected, he made sure she reaches home safe and called up Rey.
She reached home and just threw herself on her bed and started crying uncontrollably. She looked at the window, it reminded her of him jumping in to check if she was okay. She looked at the sofa, it reminded her of the day he slept there just to make sure she gets well soon. She looked at the glass window, it reminded her of their first jogging date.
Why was it so difficult for her to accept her love in front of everyone? Why? Why Sharon?! Why did you ruin your relationship?
She woke up with swollen eyes the next day when her alarm rang. It was time for college. Here he already got up and was getting ready to go to college. There was a determined look on his face. He knew he would have to face a rough day, face harsh words, face his friends who called him a liar, and most importantly face her.
Both started off to college...But then he remembered the promise he made to himself and Rey. He had to act maturely, wise and be strong As Swayam parked his cycle and was moving ahead, he saw the BB court wer some guys were playing basketball. He recollected the night when he did skate dance with her. A small smile crept on his face which soon vanished as a flash of d hurt she inflicted on him passed in front of his eyes. "No Swayam! Forget it! Move on!" his inner voice echoed as he took hard steps to make his way to the class.
Sharon was seeing all this from behind and teary eyed followed him. She knew it was her fault, her ego, her reflex that was responsible for his state.As he walked he could hear people whisper about the incident that happened yesterday. How much ever he ignored he could hear them talk loser, desperate, unfit for ACS, roadside romeo and stuff. He didn't let that affect him and walked past the corridor. Sharon who followed him gave stern looks to the gossipers. The class already was full by the time they reached.Swayam smiled a small hi to Rey and sat on the first available chair. The gang which was doing masti till then stopped and started talking in whispers.Check his hand. I'm sure he must have hurt himself I thought he would bunk today after wat happened yesterday Y doesn't he give up on Sharon? As they talked Sharon entered... Simmi n Rinni hugged her and asked her about her well being. She just said a hmm and looked at Swayam. He didn't even look at her. She was looking for a place to sit n the only vacant seat was d one beside him.She sat down beside him as the students behind echoed in a "hawww".. Swayam didn't let her presence affect her and looked into his books. The professor entered and all d while he was teaching, Sharon was constantly stealing glances at him while he didn't turn his head in her direction.
After the classes were done with, it was time for rehearsals. Since Swayam was d captain he had to assemble everyone.When her phone flashed with a message from him she eagerly opened it and was disappointed to see an official message.
***In the changing room**
Simmi: I thought we wouldn't have rehearsals today
Rinni: Yea Swayam was so angry n all yesterday. I wonder how he is so calm n composed today Ashi: Maybe this time it has gone beyond.. and paused as Simmi n Rinni looked at her.
Rinni: Sharon should feel bad for what he did. Dude he lied! How can Sharon and Swayam be in a relationship?
Sharon overheard the conversation. She wanted to answer her back! Why can't we be?!.. She realized wat a mess she had made. If their own gang can think of Swayam like that then wat about others? She decided to answer them today!
**In the rehearsal hall ***
Swayam was showing a routine when Sharon interrupted. "We have done group dances but wat about couple dances? As Swayam said our recent performance was flat. So why not we practice couple dancing?"
Swayam somewhere knew wer dis was goin to lead and simply agreed to everyone's surprise. Rey called him aside and asked him if he was okay with all this. "Kabhi na kabhi toh face karna padega. We are a team and I will do this as a captain. As everyone was choosing their partners Sharon was left alone and Swayam went to her "Team ke liye. I'm not doing it for you or me" he said as he pulled her close.
Sharon and Swayam were the ones responsible for choreographing the routine. She played the song Maula mere...
Sharon announced "Swayam n I have choreographed this long back". As they showed the steps to the gang, they could see chemistry oozing out of each and every move. The boys formed a small group and were whispering "I don't understand why Swayam does this? Kal hi uski itni badi insult hui aur ab phir se uske peeche? Kis mitti ka bana hai yeh?" And at the same time the music stopped and this was heard by all.
Swayam released Sharon and looked away from her. Sharon gave glares to the guys and decided to let it out!"Look! Stop blaming Swayam!" she said pointing out her index finger. "But Sharon he's wrong! That's why we" tried Nil.. "Nil. Tujhe problem mujhse se hai toh mujhse baat kar. Mere peeche mat kar. Aur waise bhi inn baaton se ab mujhe koi farak nahi padta" said Swayam.
"Swayam we were just wondering why do you go behind Sharon even after being rejected?" said Vicky.
"Vicky its my personal matter but it has become a public issue so I would make one thing clear. Swayam Shekhawat is no more the guy who loved Sharon Rai Prakash!" he said in a stern voice shutting everyones mouth.
Sharon couldn't hold back her tears and started sobbing "But.." she intervened "Sharon Rai Prakash has fallen head over heels in love with Swayam Shekhawat" she said as everyone's shut mouth now opened wide in shock. Simmi, Rey n Aashi were the only ones who didn't survive a major attack.
"What?" all the guys gasped at once. "Yes! I know Swayam is no more the guy who loved me. But for me hez the guy who taught me love. Hez the one who showed me in a new frame, a Sharon who was just a normal girl. Hez that guy who made me feel the wonderful essence of being in love.."
"Hez the Swayam, Sharon's lover boy who turned me into his lover girl. Swayam is the one who loved me selflessly without expecting anything in return. He showered me with his unconditional love. He made me fall in love"
"But I proved to be a failure. I didn't reach up to his level n I can never. I wasn't brave enough to accept his love in front of you guys. It was me who denied that we were in a relationship. I am the liar"
Everyone was shocked on hearing this Swayam wanted to stop all this. He has had enough and he didn't want Sharon to get a bad mouthed. As he came forward to stop her, Sharon stopped him. "Even now he wants me to stop coz he doesn't want me to get hurt!". Now everyone were guilty of blaming Swayam. Sharon continued looking at Swayam."I can't say sorry for this Swayam as I know its not a mistake. It was a blunder. But I can't see you getting blamed coz I.. I.. I love you" she said and broke down in his arms. "Please forgive me! Please" she said as she buried her head in his chest.
Swayams hands didn't go up to hug her like always. The gang decided to leave them alone and silently moved out of the RH.
"Swayam! I love you n I'm sorry!" she sobbed continuously. Swayam pulled her apart and made her look at him. She could see how difficult it was for him to hold back his tears."I'm not ready for another heart break Sharon. I will di.." and before he could complete the sentence she locked her lips with his. She showed all her love and passion in that one kiss. He reciprocated with equal vigor. They wanted each others company. How much ever they deny they can't stay away from each other. Be it destiny or luck or love, they were meant to be. As they broke apart, Sharon put her palm.on his cheek. "Never say that again. I can't live without you!" she said as she wiped the lone tear escaping from his eyes. Swayam smiled and rested his forehead on hers. "I will love you unconditionally till I breathe my last. I can never stop loving you no matter how weird you act or how rude you turn out to be.." she smiled at the assurance as he continued "I hope this time its forever".She looked up at him n said "There will never be a next time. If at all it comes I give you the right to slap me" she said as he pulled her into a tight hug!
This OS was supposed to be posted long back but I didn't thanks to my laziness and the other reason being I felt it's not up to the mark. This was again a story I was telling Priya and Pragya on WA so plz ignore the spellings :)
There are few Hindi lines as well so sorry in advance for those who can't understand Hindi :(
