Another BT scene for Ruqaiyya. Jalal comes into her hojraa & pours water on her & says "Ruqaiyya a begum, Kahin se jalne ki boo aa Rahi hain"😆😆

Ruqaiyya says she's least bothered that he spends the night with Jodha Begum or anyone else but she was waiting for him & she should've told her he wasn't visiting her because then she wouldn't have waited.

J: "Yeh Humaari Mann ki baat hain, Aapko kyun bataa ki Hum Jodha Begum ke saath kya baat ki aur kyun?"

R: " theek hain mat bataiye"

And then he tells her he will pour water on her & assist her in bathing & she tells him that she doesn't require his help. So he leaves her but tells her she must pour cold water on herself to cool her anger😆😆

R: "Aap kisi aur ke saath raat bataiye, yeh Hume manhood hain. Par Aap Humse baatein chupae, yeh Hume manzoor nahin Jalal"

Why does he taunt her so ? I'm so suspicious now

He doesn't taunt her Ariel. It seemed more like a placatory gesture.

He's testing her but I really liked the fact that he went to her😊. In a way it showed sensitivity not a taunt.

When he was bathing her she was highly irritated & he even tells her

"Arre Hum thodi naa Begum-E-Khaas ke gusse ke save tik sakte hain"😃

Yep agreed . She has to do something equivalent to what ma does in the movie for jalal to throw her out. But that doesn't mean hers is not a sad state. She waited for him all her life. He never saw it . She has no life outside of him , no support system outside of him. Yesterday her waiting for him with hoshiyar alone in the room, that will always be her state . Alone. That is After she goes nuts and pushes him away . Maybe I'm reading too much into this , hope. I'm. Wrong

Hmmm yes. But pls don't make me feel sad for Ruqaiyya, I don't want to . Even though I know I will end up feeling horrible for her.

They could have made her a wonderful tragic character but they didn't :)
