The promo and precap seemed to be clips from the same scene were jodha is reading in the gardens and jalal comes and talks to her. And I don't think her reading the Shah Nama has anything to do with the whole conversion fiasco in that sense. The scene is probably just to indicate a change of Jodha's feelings towards Jalal and a new found trust and respect for him.
