The promo and precap seemed to be clips from the same scene were jodha is reading in the gardens and jalal comes and talks to her. And I don't think her reading the Shah Nama has anything to do with the whole conversion fiasco in that sense. The scene is probably just to indicate a change of Jodha's feelings towards Jalal and a new found trust and respect for him.

The promo and the precap could very well be related...Jodha is supposed to be quite learned & literate...Her changed feelings for Jalal and the wise words of Salim Chisti may have led to her interest in Shahnama😊 I feel Jalal may have asked her to explain the essence of what she had read as he himself was illiterate.
Looking forward to the episode tomorrow...even if its few minutes of their time together😊

What's Shah nama?
Is that part of the Quran never heard of that?
Wikipedia tells me that Shahnameh is the national epic of modern day Persia, i.e. Iran. It does provide a significant insight on not only Islam, but also Zoroastrianism. The work is centrally important in Persian culture because it defines the ethno-national cultural identity of Persia. It depicts the end of Zoroastrian influence over Persia and the Muslim conquest. So, maybe the book covers certain topics of spirituality, philosophy, religion and God, it is not a holy book and definitely not part of the Quran.
