Is this like the new trend in Bollywood where PHs keep spreading rumors of this and that actress being considered, approached etc just to create buzz for their movies where the actresses have no Idea about it?? 😆

Contrary to reports about Shraddha Kapoor's role in Singham 2, sources close to the project have now confirmed that Kapoor was never approached.

Director Rohit Shetty, along with writers Sajid-Farhad who are scripting the film, are currently in the process of working on the story and character details.

The source mentioned that it is too early to finalise any one for the female lead. The source also confirmed that Shetty will be approaching someone soon, and that he doesn't mind casting a fresh face either, but everything will finally depend on how the character takes shape. The director is trying his best to complete the pre-production work and start shooting early next year.

When contacted, Sajid-Farhad also confirmed that Singham 2will go on the floors next year, as they are currently busy with two other projects and their directorial venture It's Entertainment.
