At that time there was no why shy infront of jalal u din mohd akbar...every wife of his converted to islam...but they were free to practise their former or actual believes n rituals..in islam u cant marry /nikkah to any one...so for nikah ceremony n court satisfaction...officially they changed there religions

Nobody forced her to accept islam nor she did! she was just named marium uz zamai n if you search a bit after her death she was buried per islamic rules and she herself wanted to be buried beside akbar!

The truth is when you marry someone with different beliefs,you have have to assimilate with that person to some extent. She may have read Quran but that doesn't mean she didn't worship Krishna. She could have practiced both religions=regardless the beauty of their love is defined by acceptance and tolerance. You can practice both LOL my point

I observed some days of Ramadan this year but I am also going to celebrate Diwali tonight however my background is Sikhism yet I also read the Bible. Hope that made sense
