Disclaimer: This is a plea, a prayer, a cry for the freedom of Jai and Bani
Walia to their Creator, who is responsible for their current state of being,
to please release them from the bondage that is the "Pia Claim Game".
This is a post for the Freedom of Jai and Bani Walia. I would encourage all
the persons who have complete faith in Jai and Bani Walia to share their
ideas, recollections and sentiments of what Jai and Bani Walia mean to
them and what they both stand for.
The Case for the Emancipation of Jai and Bani Walia
Once in a while, something happens in Life-an indescribable feeling
envelops us. Similar to the kind of feeling one experiences when looking
at an outstanding work of art, reading a great poem/novel, listening to an
amazing song, seeing a spectacular performance on stage, or on
celluloid. It is a feeling that is felt collectively, communicates with its own
unique language to the world. A feeling that lives one in wonderment.
Kasam Se was in that category, it left me in wonderment. Wow. This
show was from India, made me proud. The characters of Jai Walia and
Bani Dixit were a Wow. He was the first Indian male character that could
stand up and be compared to the best of the West. It was his ability to
transgress the cultural, traditional and ideological boundaries that made
him a modern character, a character of Today. Bani Dixit was a single,
young female taking care of her two sisters in her mother/parent role.
She was independent yet upheld the moral, ethical, and cultural values.
These two characters are interdependent of each other. The credit
definitely goes to their creator, Ms. Ekta Kapoor for bringing us these
characters, however, it is entirely the actors, Mr. Ram Kapoor and Ms.
Prachi Desai, who gave them a face, a voice and brought them to life in
our living rooms every night. Mr. Kapoor and Ms. Desai took Jai Walia and
Bani Dixit Walia to an almost iconic status.
They made us fall in love with them and made us have tremendous
respect for them. Even though he was fallible, Jai Walia was man of
principles; he took care of his family. He performed his dharma. Similar
to the character of Bain Dixit. She always performed her dharma.
Ms. Ekta Kapoor has accused him of a crime that he is incapable of
committing-- it's against his inherent nature. Firstly, his married sister
in law drugs him and makes him a victim of male rape;
secondly the crime of
fathering his married sister in law's child lies on his head. I refer to this
as a
crime because it is a crime to force his character into committing an act
that is against his fundamental nature. Pure ignorance on the part of his
Creator, She has made him a victim of a cruel, unjust, monotonous,
formulaic, dragging, overkill storyline. He is trapped. For now, Jai Walia
is imprisoned and deceived by his Creator (oh Brutus, How could you?)
and for the future, a question- how will this character survive with the
knowledge that he is responsible even unwillingly for stripping his own
wife of off her dignity and self respect? The identity and the right of self
determination of this character is at stake here, because he will never be
able to reconcile himself if he is not released of this crime. He will
forever be an Oedipus, blind and wandering around with a falsified guilt,
however, he is not Oedipus. He is or rather was Jai Walia.
The Evidence Regarding He is Not the Father of Pia's Child:
1) His medical condition- due to him suffering from Diabetes and high
blood pressure, on that particular disgusting Dubai night when the act in
question supposedly took place, Jai Walia had a mixture of unlimited
amount of alcohol and an unknown drug/date rape drug in his
bloodstream. According to legitimate, professional Doctors' diagnosis,
he would have gone into a diabetic coma immediately, thus inhibiting his
organ functions (that includes the organ used for procreation).
2) Numerous times the viewer was made witness to the fact that when Jai
Walia gets drunk, he passes out.
3) The ONS cd is strong evidence that nothing happened on that night in
question. We have been witness to the edited version; an unedited
version exists in the hands of the Creator. Request the court to order
release of that evidence.
4) Karuna, his cousin was a witness to Pia drugging him and she found
out what drug it was. Currently, Karuna is a witness for the prosecution
and has been able to reveal only a half-truth.
5) Investigation needs to take place immediately to find the person
behind the camera recording the act.
6) Visually implied that the next Dubai night Pia had spent with her own
husband, Pushkar.
7) Visually and verbally implied that Pushkar feels closer to the child.
(I am only stating the above reasons as evidence for this case, if anyone
has more please free to state them)
The truth and the only truth is that there is not one iota of single
evidence against this defendant to claim him as Pia's child's father, we
have only the unreliable testimony of a delusional character, Pia, that in
itself is highly questionable.
My humble request to his Creator is to be reasonable and review the
evidence without passion, come to a decision and release the defendant,
Jai Walia, his wife Bani Walia and his unborn child from "Pia's Claim
Game". Most Viewers like myself, his wife Bani Walia, have undying faith
that he is not the father of his married sister-in-laws child. We go on
every single day with this faith that he is Completely, Absolutely Innocent
beyond a reasonable doubt.
Remember, Ms. Kapoor this freedom is not only for Jai Walia
it is for his wife Mrs. Bani Walia, his unborn daughter, Krishna and
for most viewers like myself. In his freedom, lies our freedom.
