i think he's just gonna have fun with her for a while and let her believe what she wants and she'll eventually realise that he didn't break his promise and she'll only gain more respect for him. as he said, muhabbat kamai jaati hai and i think thats what he's doing with jodha :)

Respectfully disagree here...it's not about what is shown on the show...it's how people HERE hyperventilate at the very thought of intercourse between the two protagonists...I keep having to imagine defibrillators being sold out coz so many heaving bosoms and ventricular tachycardic hearts here go into overdrive if the two even look into each other's eyes...

I don't analyze every movement,twitch,eye lock, brain lock or any other lock that the two main characters share...taking off my thinking cap means that I just simply sit back and enjoy...

But there have been...and are multiple attempts here to kinda romanticize a Stockholm syndrome situation here...calling it falling in love is insulting...to all women...

So yes, if there are calls of extreme caution...it's better to heed them than to disregard them... Coz there is a world outside this fantasy world of jodha and akbar, and the sad fact is...that brutality does exist...and molesters don't often wait to see that you are falling for them or not...

So, I don't analyze what the scriptwriters do...I leave that to them and wait patiently for the plot to develop...

But yes, the feminist in me does get my dander up even if a whiff of such a suggestion does arise...and here I do admit it's only a suggestion...for all one knows the truly noble( not) jalal swaddled his cosseted bride in swathes of fur and rocked her to a lullaby...but then ...only a Bakwaas dictionary does not carry the word impossible...
