I mean to promote a social awareness I think showing it once is enough nai?? But for TRPs, generating revenue, using it as a mere capitalistic tool its a little sicko in my opinion

normally when people blame ekta for all sorts of things, i dont think it is right because a show has to go on and ekta needs to put some twist in it nd if people dont like it then why do they watch it???

but after hearing about this rape case, i am appalled...it is disgusting. it is upto ekta to approve these stories and the creatives and ekta have made a joke of 'rape' .

some people have actually gone through this in real life and its really not funni to show this in tv, its a very sensitive issue...this can really have a negative impact on people...she showed it with nandani and now KT...how can she? once its ok but time and again?

and on top of it all KT is getting raped unknowingly by mayank? there are so many disabled people in the world and she is just making fun of them by showing this stupid rubbish...this can hurt peoples feelings a lot

nd i dont think she realises that her trp's arent gonna go up if she continues shwoing this to people...infact using such an issue to promote her serials is completely wrong nd unsensitive...

nd be it anyone, if not KT den anyone, dis rape stuff is not right, these are meant to be family dramas which most people watch together, even children...is this what she is showing children and families? nd she neva makes couples happy, onli when the show ends...

im really not happy with this current storyline...am sorry if i offended anyone but this is just not right...

I was disgusted by the rape scene. Why did it have to be so graphic? Even though this is just a serial and KT is a fictional character, I found that scene to be very, very disturbing. Ekta has really lost her marbles!

As for the rapist, I'm sure that wasn't Eklavya. He is the obvious suspect, and usually the person who seems most likely to do it doesn't turn out to be the one who did it.

Poor KT...she and Lakshya were so happy after the engagement... 😭 😭

😭 😭 😭 AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! i dont know if im sad or mad! it'll take a year to see LKT together! Im not blaming Ekta for doing this, but she could have seperated LKT some other way. Rape is too harsh and sad.

I agree with you Nimmi. Although, by the time I noticed the topic, it has many pages added to it. I am not surprised at that at all. This indeed is a very sensitive, touchy subject, which can disturb people just to imagine. I can understand that a gurl who really had to go through that awful ordeal can feel really low and get mentally disturbed to a greater deal. To the extent that she never recovers from physical and mental shock. It demands a lot of patience and support from people surrounding her.

I am with you when you say that this is very serious matter. I know a gurl is raped in a part of the world every minute if not exaggerating. My heart goes out to those victims and families who go through this terrible, horrifying nightmare.

However, this is fictional and one can only feel bad for this fiction but at the same time they can be supportive and perceptive towards an actual victim.

It bothers me to a greater deal that the producer uses this obnoxious, despicable, social issue so obliviously

Yeah it was a sad thing to watch. I think she does show it one too many times. This is the third rape sequence in Kyunki, eventhough the first one between Raj Bhasin and Kesar was not shown, she just walked backwards and fell so I thought ekta did a good job with that because she didnt show anything.
So yeah maybe she shouldnt use this issue anymore, because she has done it too many times. I am just thinking of how many south indian serials depict rape and there are not that many. Infact right know I dont think any of them that I currently follow have shown rape, they shown marital abuse but not rape specifically.
I will not bash ekta like everyone else, because I dont think she is evil for showing rape. But she is a business person, and I think as a woman maybe we expect more sensitivity from her.

It is ABEER.......now i can bet on that its not manthan not mayank not eklavya.......it is the mr. bloddy ABEER bhoomi's so called love.manthan is just a show off ....i dunno why mayank was brought up in such issue and for eklavya those people who love do not bring hate.

There was a show of Ekta called: Koi dil mein Hai (I think this is what the show is called)... and In that the main girl gets raped by her husband as well

Hmm.. for some reasons I thought, just like her regular song and dance in each serial and the main female lead marrying like 2-5 times on an average, she's shown this in more K serials than we can remember 😕
