I haven't done a review in a long time, being busy with work and the play and all but here's one after some time...

KZK/KAA - 1 Hour Special
I have to say a nice piece of work done by the Balaji team on this one. I remember watching the KGGK/KkavyAnjali special and wondering why they even had it because it was all about special performances and special guests. But even in that episode I was quite amazed by how Anjali fought off Pallavi for Parvati's secret box and Parvati collided with Soham only to save his life from a shooter Nirmala had sent after him.

The thing is that that part was only in the last part of the show but yesterday from the word 'GO' there was a superb mixing of the two shows. Gauri and Shiv in the car with Prem, the phones being exchanged, Gauri saving Vishaka's daughter and finally Prerna ripping into Ipshita and Shiv about the difference between a lover and a husband. It was all done very nicely and I enjoyed it thoughrougly.

On a scale of 1-10 (1 being bad and 10 being great) I'd give this episode a 10 for it's pace and delivery and acting... Nicely done.

KGGK
I thought that while the scene between Parvati and Trishna was nice, it could have been portrayed much better. I agree with allowing Kamal to know the truth because he always ends up helping Parvati one way or the other, there is an essence of the old that is brought in there and that's nice. The Pragati and Ankit scene lacked a lot of chemistry and there was so much tension between the actors... As for the rest of the episode it was good but not as good as KGGK usually gets.

On a scale of 1-10 this episode deserved a 6.

KSBKBT
I am so happy that Dhaksha is back and I liked a lot of the comedy scenes and how the writers are able to mix Dhaksha's jokes with her devious schemes to make life interesting. I was a bit miffed off with the Bhoomi/Joydeep scene but I suppose that's the purpose, to bring an extreme difference between the two so that they can spin a twist on it later. I don't know why they even had that Tanya/Tulsi scene because it was very confusing and not needed at all.

I have to say though that the KT rape scene was very disturbing and the music that ran over the screams was very haunting and I found myself clutching the edge of my bed as I watched it. It was very difficult to endure this scene to its end and KT's screams didn't make it any easier. But in all, nicely done, if they were trying to acheieve disturbance then they did it to the T.

On a scale of 1-10 this episode deserved an 8.

Well then....

I totally agree with you Brandy, the rape scene in KSBKBT was really disgusting. I felt very miserable while watching it.

KGGK was great yesterday!! The way Trishna got scared and the way Parvati got back home in time was good too just to take the rip out of Trishna 😆

KAA/KZK merger was great too!! 😃

I was in a real good mood after the KAA/KZK special episode and the amaaaazing KGGK epi... And then.... POOOOF! The Kyunki episode sucked all the happiness out of me. I don't think I am going to be happy for a very long time. The rape scene was haunting and it's gonna stay with me for a long long time.
