its not ur fault actually, TV and media have portrayed it in such a way. See first you say Raghu sad in engagement segment, then u saw the marriage breaking walla segment, and now this article on PMS.

Girlie these are just clipings, u haven't seen the actual episode between these segments.

I am sure he came to know about it just before the engagement and couldn't back out.

Secondly may be he went to tell Antara about it after engagement and Antara in a naughty mood trying to cheer him ended up in PMS. When 2 ppl are in love there are no boundaries and even if there are you will never know when u crossed it. PMS is not a planned thing it just happens. Lovers get carried away.

Also you can't just blame Raghu for the PMS it takes two opposite sex ppls consent to do it. Antara can not blame Raghu for it as even she wanted it and hence it happened.

Raghu's character will not get wasted as even though he took his time he confessed his crime before Antara. Also i am sure he will win back her trust and love as they are Do Dil Ek Jaan. So chill guys..

Lets take Raghu's character aside- He was a sort of Robin Hood, a do-gooder who used intimidation for the greater good. Noway he was violent or had criminal tendencies. Now when the news of his involvement is out, I don't think besides Antara there is anyone who is most affected by this incident than Raghu. He would be shaken, shocked and truly lost. Its not about Antara , its about his hands painted with blood of an innocent man and his involvement in shattering a family. He made Ishan and Antara loose their father figure, he is an orphan so he understands the implications better than anyone else. Not to forget this is a criminal and punishable offence.

So , we have a man terrified of his own reality and would try to run away or hide it to save the present of many people. He would know that the moment this is out Antara would loose her smile. Maybe a part of him would want to be near her to protect her and the family from future troubles and from the harsh realities. So much playing on his mind , he is bound to loose sense of rationality. Its basic instinct to hold on to the dear ones in case of a looming thread, even if its of one's own actions.

I don't want to speculate the circumstances under which these two made love, but that moment inspite of everything will remain as pious and as innocent. He was a man at the cross-roads of his own principles. He has no way ran away from his destiny , rather he must have cried looking at the faith Antara was bestowing at him at that moment. Her unwavering love is his cue to make it all right for her.

Antara

I like the anger and hatred that she would direct towards Raghu. Innocent or not, he is the living proof of her father's death. No way wold I take a subdued Antara ,that will be out of character. We all remember how stone hearted, lonely and soul-less she was when she met Raghu. It's from that moment her anger at anyone who took her father away was building. She was always like that, a daughter who lost her beloved father.

If she marries Satya out of revenge, as much I don't approve , I just cannot judge her. It will be right up her character, she is known to be reckless and too one-directional when it comes to her father and rightly so. She has always wanted justice. And to see Raghu being not only her savior but the tormentor, her faith would be doubly shattered, there would not be a wrong or right. Just getting back at him would be a priority for her.

Lets consider just how many daddy's girls in real world would marry or hope to be with a guy who was in any capacity involved with their father's death. As I say, she can forgive but to be with Raghu , there has to be a bigger tremor in her life. It might be a step taken in the heat of the matter but no where she is stepping out of her character. Her life is ruined and she is being suicidal and planning to take down a man who has betrayed her the most. If the CV's handle this track well and go this line, I would salute them for opening up a character so well.

Their acceptance for each other physically was important at this point, it reflects that even when she tries to move on or hate Raghu to the core. She just would never be able to commit to any man in any manner. Everything would make her think of him. More than the physical aspect of it , the whole thing symbolizes that there is no aspect of her soul and body which is not covered by Raghu's touch.

Then bigger question is- how would she gather the strength to go against a man who is the love of her life?

I think thats what the story has been since the promo, this is what makes DDEJ unique. See there has to be more depth and dimension to characters since their initial days. Lets give them breathing space to tell their story. Marriage or the terrorist angle are not lame plot devices but they are the basic crux of their original tale.

And another point- Raghu and Antara are not some superheros or God like beings. They are as human as we are, they will make mistake , learn and try to rectify. Even if sometimes Antara's anger would cross a limit , I would never call that out of character- she is as real as we are and has full right to explore her darker side.

Frankly I am sick of self-less , rona dhona , becchari female leads on Indian TV. Antara till now has developed into a very self-assured, confident and headstrong girl. I would like her to take the tougher road and make herself more conflicted. Remember the only third wheel in this story is Rantara themselves.
