Today, I saw a lead character evolve on-screen.
Jodha did everybody proud and put up a performance worthy of an award, that is not too say that she didn't mean every word because, she did. Jodha is finally thinking like a Mughal Empress now at not as an Ameri princess. She swallowed her ego and apologized to not only Jalal but Maham and Cheapuddin, as well. She is finally starting to learn the true meaning of 'saap mar jaaye and laathi bhi na tutte'. A motto so diligently followed by all her enemies. And learn she did.
Explaining the topic:
Mirchi jab fresh hoti hai tabhi theeki hoti hai. But ultimately in a matter of few days it loses it's flavour and drys up. Mirchi ka achaar, on the other hand, remains theeka for a long time, at times for years. It doesn't lose it's potency and a strong mirchi ka achaar can bring tears to our eyes with just a teensy bite. This is so, because it is mixed with masala and oil that preserve it for a long time. So, how does Jodha come here??
Jodha = Mirchi
Diplomacy = Masala
Swallowing Ego = Oil
Therefore, Jodhs + Diplomacy + Swallowing Ego = Mirchi ka achaar!
Since, now she is starting to become an achaar instead of remaining a lone mirchi, she is a formidable opponent, as pointed out by Adham. Remain like this Jodha, would suit you really good at Agra. But be careful, naye-nawale achaar ko fungus lagne ke bhi bahut chances hote hai. 😉😉
