Bit extra info -> Was going through a account, where the writer has described the fight between Rajputs & these tribes->
"The author describes those tribes as-> People who fight with a vigour, ONLY TO WIN, and describes their stamina as such that they can fight continuously for 3 days.!!!!!!😕!!!!!!Furthur, calls them highly barbaric and ferocious in their method of warfare..

And, Rajputs as the people, who fight till their breath, until the blood stops boiling.😕. He says, Rajputs fight for glory not WIN. While fighting they are so lost, it appears that they are intoxicated, while fighting". 😆..

In short, the author meant that, the duel between both the sides was comparable. Their battles were HIGH INTENSITY BATTLES, creating wide-spread destruction..🤢..

He also mentions, these tribal people, carry a bottle called 'Mashak' on their back, made of leather, with water in it. They used it to drink water while fighting.😲😕 (drinking ??and then..fighting...WHAT..??😆...) And, for food they had raw meat with them..(Fighters hain, ya chalti-phirti shop.?😆...Eating, Drinking and fighting...😆...)

Hi,
Few days back had a LONG conversation with a forum friend. And, ultimately it resulted in something which many history lovers(read JA) would like to know. I am copying that conversation, to my thread, so that all stays at one place.

I started with a comment by a member M-E-B, for an article praising JA.
Here is the convo. 😆 . It just happened all of sudden.

Not to mention, the BRILL acting done by the main male leac, Rajat Tokas. His subtlety, his body language, his voice modulation & control. ALL is brill! And Pari's super acting & carriage as the Raajvanshi queen of Akbar- Digging into history, I cannot believe that she was NOT *atleast* one of his favourites, if not his most favourite.

Also, the wafer-thin delicate chemistry between Akbar, and Jodha. It can be gentle & can touch you like the breeze.. Or rip you apart like a tornado!

This is a Love Story that people need to see. To know just how much Love can Conquer, when Love is genuine , sincere & passionate. 😳

TFS this nice article.

really, i liked last two paras...

Though i may sound a bit 'crazy'.. 😆 ...
But since u had '''little''' ''doubt'' on her being the favorite wife.. So resisted from liking.. 😉..

Btw, we always 'interact' on this topic only.. Strange coincidence... 😆 ..??

Minor but IMPORTANT and SERIOUS update:

Hi all.
This answer is with respect to a PM which i received. Though, got MANY PM's on same issue. And, answered all of them separtely. But, now decided to answer PUBLICLY so the doubt vanishes.

The PM goes like this: (Guys, i was quite angry after reading this NON-SENSE..!!..)

" Abhay, i have read on a post that Amer was a small territory without much status. In real history, was Amer like that?? I even read that the Queen of Mewar would have refused to accept any rajkumari of Amer as her daughter-in-law.. "

Answer:

First of all, had i read that POST "myself", i would have CLARIFIED it on that POST itself..😊.!
Certain claims/comments are VERY serious, and when they are TOTALLY WRONG, then it becomes more irritating.

I ll answer this in 2 parts:

1. Amer's status/ small territory etc. issue.
2. Regarding marriage issue.

Point1:

I and KDR81 gave a "VERY NICE" reply for this question regarding Amer's status LONG time back on a thread. Re-quoting again. On that thread Amer's status was questioned and was mentioned that Amer used to take money from Jalal.😕..See the comments...

Please read the IMPERIAL GAZETTER OF INDIA, and if possible read the Princely states of India's accounts(Rajputana), where it's clearly written that the 'erstwhile princely state of Amer had MAXIMUM REVENUE IN ENTIRE RAJPUTANA, despite the fact that Amer was not the largest rajputana state. The largest states were Marwar and Mewar, then.

Also, regarding power of empire, when Jalal married Heera his empire was nothing more than Kabul, Punjab(that too west, north and east punjab..not southern part.), Delhi, Agra,Mewat, Jaunpur, Nagore, Ajmer.(i may have skipped 1,2 names, probably)
Even Gwalior, Merta, etc. were occupied after marriage...So, again this point is not down my throat atleast, so i have expressed my views..
Also about "status"👍🏼 --> Amer is FAMOUS for producing DISTINGUISHED fighters and WARRIORS in history. Let me give an example...All people here know the great warrior Prithviraj Chauhan.
One of his constant companions and distinguished general was Raja Purjana Kachwaha. He married one of Prithviraj's sister. He fought against Muhammed Ghori, near the fort of Bhatinda (present day Punjab) in 1191 A.D. , and was slained there. In his honour, Chand Bardai, the composer of Prithviraj Raso, has dedicated a separate couplet in his honour, which reads as follows...
In Hindi--->>
Aaj rad dhilladi, aaj Dhundhar anathai
Aaj adin Prithviraj, aaj sanwant bin mathai
Aaj par dal dal jor, aaj nij dal bhram bhagge
Aaj mahi bin kasam, aaj marjad ullage
Hinduwan aaj tuti dhili, aaj turkani ucchatiya
Kuram Pajjun marata thakan, manu chap gun tuttiya
English Translation--->>
(Today the fight has weakened, today Dhundhar has become orphan. Today Prithviraj has become a fighter without head. Today enemies forces have become strong, and own forces are running in confusion. Today the land has started crossing her limitations like a widow. Today Hindus have lost their heart and invaders encouraged. With the death of Kuram(Kachwaha) Pajjun, Prithviraj has become a bow with broken string.)
Sorry..Not a history lecture...but only proved my point regarding " Amer's status ".😕

Even, in Akbar's time, "at one point of time" 50-60%% of his empire had Amer's subedars.(Lahore, Kabul, Agra, Delhi, Ajmer,Bengal). I will give their names of commanders also. Jagannath, the Amer prince was a commander, even under Jahangir's reign..!!

Also, even the Royal Treasury was put under control of a Kachwaha ruler. Mind it :: All this was done against the wishes of his OWN ULEMAS and commanders.!!!..I will give in details in my threads..(yes.!! with references..)
(the list is non-exhaustive!!😕!! so stopping to give all that in my threads.in future.)

Rajputana Status & Wealth: Well, I really have now words to describe my wonder at the thought that Jodha married Jalaal because he was RICH...?? Nothing can be funnier that this assumption as Rajputana Royals were famed for their wealth and grandeur which is a well-established fact for centuries...In fact, certain gifts which Akbar received during his marriage to Heera were quite worthy of mention and were valued by him all through. I don't even think there 's any necessity of citing books for that...the Erstwhile Rajputana territory has enough standing proofs of their wealth and Rutbah...😊
