Please think itlike this. Apart from Ruqaiya and MA, no other woman ws shown hving guts to rise their head in front of the men. Though BB is the sister of Shehansha, she is a lady who had lost her husband and it is her second marriage with Shefifuddin and even then if I am right, Jalal never discussed it with her and took her acceptance for the marriage. Just that Sharif won Amer and to celebrate that he got his sister married to him (BB didn't had a voice to chosse her husband and was supressed in the male dominated society). At the same time she know how erithful is her brother's anger and if she agrees that her husband is the culprit, she is sur that Jalal will kill Sharif and the thought of becomin a widow again gives a chill through her body. So she had to lie to her brother to save her husband. Girl can't keep dreaming for a queue of husbands one after the other's death.Originally posted by: meghanajain
BB is always been shown weak and I wasn't surprised with her stance. Its just sad that she is the sister of such a powerful man but acts like a doormat. Jodha always ends up with weak proofs - last time it was Rahim and now it was BB. But, as I mentioned in my review Jalal will be at unease and might connect this incidence to the past. He knows Jodha does not lie and this might make him take some other route. Thanks for your detailed comments Aanchal
