Hello Friends

this is Dr .Ravindra Kolhe & Dr.Smita Kolhe...

Smita and Ravindra Kolhe, who devoted their lives for providing health services to tribals in remote Melghat region of Vidarbha region, Maharashtra

This couple is acknowledged in the tribal community for the work they did for the tribal children, pregnant women and young mothers in remote and hilly parts in Melghat. The Kolhe have also left their mark in special works they did in the last 26 years for the development of tribal's similar to developing farms, food chains, power generation, and minimum wages. They have also been working for 35 years currently for creating, awareness about women's health and education at Buiragarh in Dharni Taluka. Dr. Ravindra Kolhe is MBBS and MD, Smita Kolhe a graduate in arts and law and also a pediatrician.

Dr Ravindra Kolhe, MD, lives and runs a clinic in Melghat, Maharashtra.

His fee is Rs 2 for the first consultation and Rs 1 for the second.

they both live a life of simplicity
live in a hut , eat simple food

They feel the need to carry the world on their shoulders ! That is noble ! It is very difficult to emulate them ! We have to bow our heads in reverence for these good Samaritans !

We must appreciate & acknowledge such deeds which will boast their morale & may encourage many of us to follow their footsteps. Thanks for the post . Do keep us informed of such characters who devote their entire life towards serving the destitutes & the nation.
