Given Jalal's track record and his chronic need to be suspicious of people's ulterior motives, even when they're saying the truth (an urge that only his Jodha Begum can activate), I do not have much faith in him this week. So, I don't think he'll take Jodha for her words when she stupidly goes to Jalal to elucidate Sharif-ud-din and Adham Khan's big bad plan and I believe she will. I really hope Jodha makes me eat my words by being clever with the whole ordeal. And, I'd love it even more if somehow Jalal comes upon the nefarious device of the duo to "off Jalal" (as my mother puts it) and puts an end to their planning. And, maybe even get rid of that stupid Adham Khan. God knows I can't take another one of his tactless and indelicate plans. Villain community ka dhabba hai wo. 😵

He will not believe jodha without any proof.But what proof can she get? She cannot video record their conversation. I don't think he will punish her for blaming them though.

He has got so used to her😆

He knows she is a good girl 😊

Agree with you...though Jalal says he doesn't even trust his own shadow, yet has blind faith in vipers like Sharifu & Adham. 😕

i was thinking that too. I was like man they did not even they have smartphone or even recorder that she can record the conversation😆

Providing eyewitnesses is the most effective treatment for this..

she should get her fauj for this..she should bring them along and make them listen to AK/Sh chup chupke...

1) AK/Sharif would not harm them, I think

2) Jalal would NEVER overturn their suggestions 😆

3) Saves Jo from Ja's wrath and vice versa 😆

Looks like I was right. But, I do understand Jalal's predicament. He is an Emperor, and therefore cannot blindly believe anything that is said to him, even if it comes from a woman he seems to be getting fonder of. But, then there's his mulish inflexibility in never attempting to look at a situation from different perspectives. What goes beyond my comprehension is how he says he is disbelieving of even his own shadow, and in the next moment, takes something for face value without ruminating over it. His staunch belief that his family can never do him wrong can be his biggest downfall. If he'd been applying his brain to do what it is intended to, he'd consider that maybe his sister wasn't being completely honest with him, not that it makes her a bad person. In light of the circumstances, any person would lie and the deception was not totally unjustified. So, if he thought about it a bit, instead of delivering an instant view or command, he'd understand the rationale behind his sister's deceit. And, moreover, he is not oblivious to Jodha's probity and rectitude. Even if he did find her integrity questionable, he should have thought back to how Jodha has always been in support of the truth without caring about who that incriminates. And, I was not let down today, because I held myself back from expecting anything other than aggravating obtuseness on Jalal's part.

Ah, that does sound like a good idea. 😃

Maybe, Jodha should have taken Jalal in disguise as well, in her little reconnaissance mission. That would have done both the families a lot of good, and would have saved time as well. 😵

And, Maham Anga. Well, only we are privy to her true colors, and then there's the "doodh ki karz" (*sigh*) so Jalal can't really be blamed. But, there are no such ties with Sharifu or Adham other than the obvious familial ones, and I don't understand how Jalal refuses to see the fact embedded in Jodha's argument. Ah well, I just hope they don't drag this on for too long. 😕
