Antara whispered into his ears-Mr. Naik!! Sab dekh rahe hai!!! Ab ke liye chor do!! Raghu replied to her-Ab ke liye chor dia to baad mein phir pakarne degi?? Antara waited a few moments and then said-Haan!! Raghu released her from his arms and gave her a meaningful smile which made her almost red. He looked at the audience. All were curiously looking at him.
Guys!! As u all know my lovely wife (he looked at Antara), she is a bit crazy about me!!!(laughs) She was very modest in her speech. The truth is- SHE changed my life. I was born a new birth when I met her 2 years ago. Guys, it's not about attraction or passion or even love only, it's about devotion, trust and a sort of madness to be together!! A battle between heart and mind, loyalty and justice, mistake and crime, longing and separation. I did never witness unconditional love before I met her. She made me witness and feel that. I always used to find solace just like a thirsty man in a desert for one drop of water but she brought an ocean for me!!! She was the first person after my mother (his voice broke) died whom I can say as mine!! And trust me, the Raghunath Naik you all are witnessing today, is actually the 300% improved version of the earlier Raghu!! This improvement was done by Antara only!!(he looked at her again and she said I love you in mute to him). Ok. I think you all will be very hungry after listening so many words since the evening. So I will stop now. Enjoy the party!! The food will be served in a while!!!
He pulled Antara's hands while leaving the hall room, took her with him in a corner and stared at her. She was looking gorgeous!! He just could not stop himself and said that-Party kab khatam hoga?? Within 1 hour or two?? I have to ...balance it!!!
Antara got confused!!! What balance??
Raghu replied-Look, you gave me such a beautiful gift, so I have to give you something also na!!I also want to make you happy!! I just can't tell you how happy I am feeling right now!!I just (he cupped her face with both of his hands) want to show that I also love you that much that u do love me!!
Antara took his hands in her hands and kissed on them.
She said-I know that you love me the same way. And I am so happy. Can't you see that?? You don't have to balance (smiled). Actually I am trying to balance it. Today's party was just a small try. Ok??
She put her one hand on his cheek and kissed on his lips softly!! Then she whispered- After party, I have another surprise for you!!
Raghu-What?? Another gift?? What is it??
Antara-It's a surprise. You have to wait, Jaan!!
She winked him and left. And Raghu became more restless.
This girl will kill me tonight!! At first her beauty, uff that black sari, ok I have to control right now, then her emotional speech which almost made me cry and then this kiss!!! What's her plan after all??
When the party was finished at 11 pm, by then Raghu had almost become mad. When the last guest bided goodbye, he almost ran to Antara and picked her up in his arms though he noticed that Aaji was there who turned into blind eyes and left hiding her smirk.
Aaaooo!!! What are u doing?? Have you got mad??
Bilkul sahi pehchana!!! I am mad now.
He took her into their room and closed the door. Then he made her stand in front of him and said- Don't create any suspense, plz tell me what is the other gift. If you still don't tell me na, (he started walking toward her giving her very passionate looks) You know what I will do!!
Antara suddenly became very serious. She put her one hand on his shoulder and said-
Your gift is just behind you, Jaan!!
Raghu looked back!! At first he didn't catch it but it took just some seconds for him to notice that, there was a huge portrait hanging beside Raghu's cupboard. It was not there this morning. She must have hanged it today itself!! It was beautiful. The most extraordinary part is that- someone painted it. It was not just an enlarged photo frame.
He walked toward it!! He touched that portrait to feel that it was real. He could not control his tears anymore. Suddenly he felt that oceans of emotions were bursting inside his chest. His mother was looking so beautiful in that picture. And he was also looking very good.
He used to stare at a black and white photo from childhood till now. Earlier this photo was the only proof to him that once he was loved by someone selflessly. He had a family once. He got so many encouragements from this one photo. God knows how many nights he had spent staring at this photo only!!! How many tears he had shed to get her back in his life!! To watch her one more time. Whenever he did any good work or helped someone, he thought that she would be so proud of him. Even now, whenever he goes for any big projects or meeting, he just opens his wallet and looks at this photo only as if just by looking at it, he will get her blessing.
Raghu pulled out his wallet and opened it. Then he compared the photo with this huge portrait. The portrait is better. He looked back at Antara.
Antara came forward and said nervously- Do you like it?? I visited a painter last month on road!! He was a good one. He made an exact portrait of a boy who was playing in front of him. So I got an idea that I would make him do this portrait for our room. How is it?? Are you happy or upset that I did it without asking you?? I just thought that you would feel better if I...
Raghu- sshhh!!(he put his finger on her lips to stop her talking) You don't know what you have done. Now I will live in this room with two of the most favourite persons of my life. Her memory is so precious to me!! I used to look at her one small photo all these years and never thought of this idea. (he indicated at the portrait) You thought for me!! Thank you. Antara- Please don't say it, Raghu!! We have discussed it many times. You didn't snatch my father. It was an unfortunate event. You were just present in wrong time in wrong place, that's it!!! Never say that again.
Raghu slightly tilted his head in his usual charismatic style and said-Mrs naik!!! Sometimes I wonder that if you are even real!!
Antara kissed on his forehead and said- Still any doubt??
Raghu-No.(smiled)
Antara- You are happy na??
Raghu: eerrr No!!!
Antara: why??
Raghu: Because I want another gift from you. Can u give me that??(his eyes were sparkling with naughtiness)
Antara: Anything you want!!!
Raghu suddenly put his left hand behind her waist and pulled her with such a force that it caused her land on his chest. He put her hairs behind her ears and whispered-Wahi jo tu kisi aur ke sath nahi kar sakti!!!'
Antara: So you are thinking about balancing???(asked shyly)
Raghu pulled her even more closer and then they passed another beautiful night of their life.
