Where is she?? Why isn't she here for lunch?? She is supposed to be sitting with me now!!! In fact I have ordered Chinese especially for her.She knows very well that I don't like to have lunch without her.
Raghu was very annoyed. He was calling her but she was not picking up the phone. After long 10 minutes, she sent a message. It said-I have some work to do at home. You should not forget that there are some other persons in our home who need to be taken care of. See you at night!'
It was so rude,Miss Kaul!!! He wanted to bang his phone but didn't. Because, she gifted him this phone last month. He started eating alone. If anyone had seen him this time,he/she would have thought that Raghu was enjoying his lunch calmly with a slight smile on his face. But actually, he was not even noticing that his hand was putting food in his mouth and his teeth were chewing it. His mind was running back and reached almost 1 year ago when he and Antara founded this company!! Since he did not have any academic degree, he was hell scared to start anything like this in his life. He had completely lost his confidence after what happened with him. He feared to trust anyone else but Antara. He was so confused. But Antara always gave him the much needed encouragement. She was always with him,by his side. Whenever he felt devastated, she reminded him that who he really is!!! What capabilities he has!! She never became embarrassed on his weakness in English. She never tried to change him, instead she changed the situation to make it easy for him. He remembered that time when she ordered all the employees to give their presentation in hindi!! Raghu was so amused that day. Antara's always defend-Raghu behavior gave him courage to try to learn again. And one day he surprised her by presenting his new amusement park plan completely in English. She cried that day. Though he made a lot of mistakes on which some of his employees cracked joke, the only thing that mattered for him was-She was proud of him.
When the company started doing well, Antara told Raghu that she should now concentrate on home. Because by that time he was already able to manage everything quite well. Being a Bhai in his earlier life,his street smartness and ability to convince clients was proved to be very helpful for the company. And all those remaining technical things, bit of theoritical knowledge and conducting team work, he learned it from his surrounding and also Antara. Now when he was capable, she was planning to leave him alone, in office. That's not fair. He personally felt that, he couldn't do a single thing without her. Her sitting in front of him and looking at his face with an assuring smile was enough for him to conquer the world. He made Aaji,Noor Apa and Maa agreed to the fact that she would continue to work with him in office. After all who can say no to Raghu Bhai. Haawww she was so angry that evening!!! But he knew inside that she also enjoys staying close to him. She loves him so much that destiny had to bent before her decision. Her decision to forgive him. The killer of her father!!!
After lunch, he worked for another 3 hours. He was feeling very tired. This tiredness wasn't for the workload,this was for staying apart from Antara.And he was getting shock that Antara didn't call him in the last 3 freaking hours.
Is something serious?? Is she really at home?? Was there any problem in the construction site that she went to solve and didn't tell him because he would be worried. Yes, there are loads of work going on here but she should share everything with him.
He could not wait any more. He stood up,picked up his blazer and was about to go out of his room;suddenly MM came.
MM: wo...wo...Yedi ne kaha tha...nahi sorry wo... tu kaha jaa raha hai??
Raghu: Ghar. Tujhe koi problem hai??
MM: Nahi...Mera matlab ...Haan..problem hai!!!
Raghu: kyu??
MM: kaam khatam karle pehle!!(started sweating badly)
Raghu: kal karunga. Tu itna tension mein kyu hain re??
MM: tension?? Nahi to!! Wo bohot garmi hain.
Raghu: Garmi!!! Bahar baraf girr rahe hai, aur tujhe paseena aa raha hai??
MM: wo mera body thora alag type ke hai. Tu rook!! Tere liye ek aur file hai!!
He made Raghu sit on his chair and opened a file infront of him.
Raghu: Ye file ka kaam to agle mahina start hoga. Bohot time hai abhi. Tu mujhe ye abhi kyu de raha hai??
MM: kal ke liye kuch bhi nahi rakhne ka. Aaj saara kaam khatam karke shaanti se ghar mein ja aur enjoy kar... mera matlab hai ke khana kha...mera matlab...so jaa aur kal wapas aa.(he stopped himself by putting his own hand on his mouth)
Raghu stared at him for quite a long time and then slowly a smile appeared on his face. He took that file and started to read it. MM was confused and about to leave when Raghu called him.
Raghu: MM, ye to bolke jaa, mujhe kitne baje tak kaam khatam karna hai??
MM understood that Raghu understood everything. At last he stopped sweating.
MM: 5 pm. Yedi ne wahi time boli thi.(smiled)
Raghu: ok. Jab agli baar phone kare to tere wo yedi se keh dena ki unki hukum sir aankhon pe!!
MM left. Raghu suddenly got very excited . He badly wanted to know what the surprise was. Aaji's weird behavior, maa's secret talk with Noor Apa about catering and Ishaan's cancelling his trip with his friends today-all were not a coincident at all. They were planning for this since last week. He looked outside the glass door of his office. Suddenly he saw some curious eyes on him. So,everyone knew about it.
God!!! What is she going to do tonight??
He brought himself back on the pending file and hoped that time would fly now.
