I agree with u that Kasamh se is still special. Despite everything I still love watching it ...
Although I prefered the story earlier.. coz every character was well etched. I loved the fact that all the characters were grey... except for Bani, Rano, Aditya and Dadi. I liked the fact that Jigyasa even though negative had a certain positivity to her. She hated the 3 sisters coz she thought they were here to use her brother which she hated. She genuinely loved Jai despite everything. When the news of his death came she was shattered.... She would never blackmail him like the new jigyasa who it seems is out and out negative. Whatever the differences between aditya and the old jigyasa there was a good friendship and fondness between them they used to laugh together. The new jigyasa just mostly seems nasty to aditya. There was genuinely a brother sister bond between the old jigyasa and Jai but we dont get to see that these days. I loved the fact that Jai also was not out n out positive nor out nout negative. He had alot of grey he made his share of mistakes but also had the guts to apologise when he was wrong. Today also I love Jai's character... I agree he is not as dominating and powerful as he used but thats natural .. he was so strict and firm earlier because he had pushed his emotions far below coz he felt he was always taken for a ride when it came to love but today that has changed. Today he has Bani in his life who he love unconditionally and has full faith in.. he knows that she loves only him and will never betray him. That has caused his emotions to stop being supressed. I guess alot of his restrain after the ons was due to the fact that he was guilty. Plus when she was worng when the Barnali thing was revealed he did give it to her. But other than that she hasnt really done anything to make him loose his cool. Now also he is mellow towards her because she hasnt done anything plus she is pregnant with his child and he is trying to rebuild their relationship. What i think is awesome about him is the fact that he is not pushing anything on her... he is giving her as long as she needs to fully accept him. He could have gone into long explainations and justifications but he didnt and nor did she ask for it. They dont need so many words between them. Even when the ONS was revealed Bani never lashed out at him but yet he understood her pain and anger. Unlike everyone who thinks that the change in the relationship is abrupt I dont think it is... I think its quite gradual... Once Karuna told the truth to everyone Bani was confused so her behavior showed it.. she was not cold to him but was awkward and distant.. Then they got kidnaped together and I guess Jai saved her and they commonly were there with each other I guess that got them closer. Bani also was concerned about him... it was normal for her to go and help him with his would if he was hurt and make medicine for him if he was coughing. It is very typical of Bani's nature. Slowly the barriers were being dropped... the haldi incident was amusing and they both could not help smiling... That was the next step in the relationship... Then they kept showing small ways in which Jai showed his concern for Bani and then the mandir scene... Bani had left without Jai but he followed her walking and when she got pushed he protectively led her into the temple to pray for her child. He again refered to the child as Banis coz he didnt wanna enforce himself on her... and she saw his concern and love and told the pundit that they were husband n wife and they wanted to pray for their child. This was the next step. The Holi think happened coz jai was on Bhang but he confessed his love for bani and she knows it was genuine... Now 2 months have elapsed and im sure in those two months their realtionship has moved further and they are more confortable with each other the awkwardness has greatly reduced .. so I mean things have been very gradual and not sudden which i think is really nice. Things are still not back to normal coz they still do not share the same room. I hope slowly the little distance thats left also gets finished and they are back together as husband and wife.
