Just spoke with mom in India and here is how the conversation went...

Sush- Mom, are you watching IPKKND2?

Mom- Yes, I have started to watch it...

Sush- Do you like it?

Mom- I really don't like that they are all pressurizing the girl and her family from all angles ...

Sush- Yeah, about the plot...right?

Mom- Not only the plot...but the Saas is too dominating and the boy is doing " Emotional Atyachar" on the girl...

Sush- 😲 " Emotional Atyachar"? How ...what mom? Sush didn't know that mom knew he word EA😆

MOm- Yes, yes...you know they call it " Emotional Atyachar" ...because he puts too much pressure on her to do this and do that...because he loves her...he is taking away her freedom...,

Sush- yes mom...you have a point...but do you think he loves her?

Mom- Yes, he loves her...Itne din saath rah ke Lagav toh ho hi jata hei...Waise bhi he really likes her...but that's not the point...

Sush- So, do you like anything in it?

Mom- Actually, so far...I have not found anything in it to look forward to...The girl has to have some out...I don't know why she agreed to marry in the first place...

Sush- But the hero loves her...that's why...she is in love...

Mom- They should at least have the hero lose his beard...to make it more romantic...

My mom...who is as modern in her thinking as it gets about women's lib..what do you think peeps? 😆

Actually I got my mother into watching it when she came to visit me on Friday and was asking all sorts of questions out of curiousity. I think she is gonna end up being hooked to it from this week 😉.

But after the epi, I was giving her a gist of what has happened until now. After some thought, she suddenly spoke up what if Swati was Astha's best friend or someone close and all of this has been planned by her? Her character does not tolerate any athyachar and may be she is targeting Shlok and his dad. I know how we all think that Agnihotri parivaar has dark shades, but Astha might turn the plate around 😲.

I was dumbfounded...my only answer to that was 'May be, may be not'😕

Ur mom hit the word...less emotional attyachaar..making of giving up freedom..most women go thru this stage once married or Ina relation .

Totally agree with your mom sush. He has put asthma in situation and brought her close to him , even forced her to accept her feelings. This is a forced relationship where the girl is naive to understand his mastermind. This is the reason why I feel he is not 100% in to this relationship at least not wholehearted.

i dont think this would happen...coz Shrenus earlier character was exactly this...

Ha ha...I think my mom will like it...once they show Aastha taking a stand and doing the right thing,...and by the way the right thing does not mean being the proverbial ideal woman from yester years...doing good and wanting nothing in return...of course modern women want that one thing in return ...and that is...

R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!!

. .I think she will also like it more...is Shloks character is shown it be more modern...both of which I am feeling more optimistic about, at the moment...lets see...
