This actually happened a while ago, I forgot to mention it. But one of the readers has successfully guessed at the direction in which this FF is headed. I won't mention the name though or else that'll spoil it! And I hate spoiling my FFs for people. Also, thanks for the lovely comments as always! Anyways, enjoy. :)

Chapter Ten - The Forgotten

I felt a throbbing pain throughout my head, my eyelids felt heavy, and my body felt limp. After an unsuccessful attempt to open my eyes, I sighed and raised my hands to my head. I remember feeling confused by the fact that my bed had gotten comfier over night and then wondering how I had even ended up in bed. While I began concentrating on trying to remember what I had forgotten, I heard a thudding noise. With every thud, it felt like a blow to my head. The noise around me seemed escalated and it caused my head to ache more. I closed my eyes tight, until I realized that I should've been alone in my room. My body suddenly got enough energy to shoot my eyes open and get me up in sitting condition. At first everything was a blur and I felt as though the room was spinning. I closed my eyes again, rested my head on the palm of my hands for a moment and then reopened my eyes slowly. I turned my eyes towards the direction of the noise and squinted my eyes to see past the sunlight. The bright light caused my head to ache more as well, but I needed to know what was going on. That's when I saw him. Shirtless, with sweat dripping down his body as he threw punches at a punching bag. The sight of his perfectly sculpted muscles took my breath away. I let out a sigh.

"Good morning."

His voice broke my trance. I blinked my eyes and was brought back to reality. I looked in his direction as he grabbed a water bottle and squirted some over himself and then in his mouth.

"Wh...what are you doing in my room?!"

"Well, clearly you're still hung over. Look around gorgeous."

Gorgeous? It was obvious he was trying to get on my nerves. Hungover? I had almost forgotten about the previous night. I instantly looked around, only to find out that I was sitting in RK's room, on RK's bed. I gasped. I looked down at my clothes and my eyes went wide. I was no longer in my sari. I wore a kurta. A man's kurta. RK's kurta. I gasped again and grabbed the blanket to pull it over myself.

"It's nothing I haven't seen before."

I looked back in RK's direction to see him smirking towards me.

"What do you mean?! What happened last night?!"

He walked towards me with water dripping from the tips of his hair and down his bare muscled chest. He came to a stop next to the bed and I had to remind myself to breathe as I found myself face to face with his abs. That was until he leaned over me and I felt a drop of water fall onto my cheek. I looked up. He held onto the headboard with one hand and placed his other hand on the other side of me on the bed. His hair dripped down onto my face and I found myself blinking with each and every drop. He came close enough for our noses to nearly touch and had the same smirk on his face, which irked me. I let a look of anger cross my face.

"I asked what happened last night."

Then he spoke, ominously.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out."

Having a night go by where I don't remember a thing frightened me. On top of that, waking up in RK's bed wearing something different from the night before...wearing his clothes, frightened me even more.

I kept my eyes on RK as he looked my face up and down.

"You make an interesting drunk."

I felt my blood beginning to boil as I remembered RK forcing drinks down my throat. I clenched my teeth.

"I wish the night would've lasted longer."

He was purposely trying to scare me. Why? I wasn't quite sure, but I convinced myself that whatever he was saying was simply to get on my nerves. I spoke between my clenched teeth.

"Tell me what happened RK."

"How's your ankle?"

I instantly felt a pain in my ankle. I had completely forgotten about it until he mentioned it.

"It was fine until you asked."

I pushed on his chest, the contact sending a shiver down my spine, to get him away from me. He backed away slightly, still standing near the bedside. He crossed his arms and observed me as though I were some interesting piece of art as I attempted to get out of bed. It wasn't until I pulled the blanket off myself that I noticed my bare legs. I wore nothing but the kurta top. I instantly pulled the blanket back over my legs and stared up at RK as I heard a low, sarcastic chuckle from his side.

"RK! TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED."

His sarcastic smile disappeared and changed towards an angered face.

"Don't yell at me. Don't forget your place here. You're my personal maid. Remember that."

"Screw that! Screw you! Do you have any idea how I feel right now?!"

"Yes, I've experienced being hung-over numerous times in the past."

"No! You know what I mean. I remember nothing. Nothing at all."

"And?"

"I'm a girl RK. A simple girl from an orphanage..."

"Oh don't go down that road again. How many times have I told you I'm not interested in your stup..."

"Just listen to me! I'm saying that...you got me drunk last night; I remember nothing from the night, and the next thing I know...I wake up in your clothes on your bed. Do you know how that looks? Do you know what I'm thinking right now?"

RK kept his keen eyes on me for a moment and then spoke with a stern voice.

"The fact that you think I'd do such a thing disgusts me. Especially that you think I'd do it with you."

I felt an instant feeling of regret in the pit of my stomach. I felt bad for indirectly accusing him even though there was no proof that I was wrong in doing so. I felt his tone was enough to prove me wrong.

"Just for that, I'm not telling you anything about last night. Now get lost."

My eyes widened and I stood up.

"Wh..WHAT! No!"

I felt cold air brush my legs and I noticed where RK's eyes had landed. I looked down at my legs and turned to grab the blanket. Before I could, RK's hand grabbed onto my waist from behind. A swarm of butterflies fluttered in my stomach as he pulled me close; my back touching his bare chest. I felt the water from his chest soak through the kurta and touch my skin. I closed my eyes as he whispered into my ear.

"There's no reason to hide. You've got a pair of pretty sexy legs."

Ugh. I pulled away at the sound of his voice, remembering who he was.

"STOP."

I yelled while turning around to face him.

"Don't. Don't come near me and don't you dare touch me."

He smirked.

"I'm not kidding. I'm going to figure out what your deal is and what you're hiding. Enough is enough. I'm your personal maid. Not your property."

"Ahem, the contract."

"You can follow your own stupid contract rules because I'm sure as hell not going to."

He smiled, looked down for a second, and then back up at me.

"I know what you think happened last night. I'd like to inform you that nothing of that sort did. I can't tell you all of last night's happenings but I'd be more than happy to share what I can."

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion while staring at him.

"Oh, no, don't think I'm doing you a favour. I'm just going to be giving myself amusement by telling you what happened after the party."

"I want to know everything."

"Like I said, there are some things that are for me to know and for you to find out. That includes the party."

"Why."

"Do you want to know what happened afterwards or not?"

"How will I know you're not lying?"

"I have no reason to lie, you did enough things that I don't even have to make anything up to humiliate you."

What did I ever do to him? That's the only question that was on my mind by that point.

I sat down on the bed and stared up at him. He walked towards the closet, grabbed a shirt and pulled it over his head.

"Just to make sure I'm not too much of a distraction."

I rolled my eyes as he came to sit beside me on the end of the bed.

"Let me just start off by saying that last night was one of the most interesting nights of my life."

I really enjoyed this mysterious update.
