Yes... Zoyaan was to happen... It was there in the original synopsis and it was there in the symbolisms when the show began. So what went wrong??
It has been essential to the story that Zoya landed up in SM. One can solve mysteries and problems at its source and according to me that was why it was integral to the story to have Zoya in SM. But but but... even though it was so important, I was appalled the writers didn't create any solid grounds for the same. Instead of making Nikhat as a catalyst to Zoya and Ayaan track couldn't they revolve it around Asad? It would have been more sensible to see them teaming up for Asad after all he was the reason the rabert-mona chemistry began... The story would have made more sense and it would have been a whole different ball game. It would have been endearing to see them work together to help that one person who they both loved. The characters would have saved their dignity, they would have spared themselves from making mockery of marriage as an institution and we audiences wouldn't have had to face the insensitivity and irrationality of the whole track also in the process Zoya could unearth her own mysteries. The separation would have come, there would have been heartbreak but then we would have been more open to the whole concept.
But Alas they chose a wrong road. And in between lost their way... as it looks like the CVs were confused themselves with the whole fiasco and probably even nerved with the audience reaction.
The next wrong move was the ever extending deadlines! It was like mocking in our faces and testing our patience levels even though we knew the deadlines here were not meant to be kept. Instead they could have moved on to what the track was meant for... In my opinion they were scared to hint permanency in Zoyaan even for the sake of drama. But then it makes me question what was the purpose of this whole sham? Why were we subjected to this heart-break and outcry if they didn't want to reveal anything vital? CVs, I seriously wish you answer these questions in the next week.
The story of QH was complicated to begin with and they added more complications by adding more villains and with each new addition, the former gets more weird... Tanveer is a cheap character, yet she needs to tone down big time... I wonder why the directors are not pointing out that she's coming out irritating and OTT. Razia the ace - villain who always meant business is being silly. Let me not even begin with Haseena Bi and her psychopath son.
I am not commenting on how Zoya will go back to KV, I'll rather wait to see how it unfolds. But there's another contention that says its only for a month. Ok... so similar to what had transpired during Tanveer - Asad SR fiasco when they took a month's leap, here they are bringing Zoya back. It seems its a temporary pain-reliever for us fans until they prove that the Nikah was never a valid one to begin with!
It's a fiction... the love story can't have a smooth sail to enhance the drama quotient and so AsYa had to cope up with the ups and downs... separation... pain and then bliss of being untied as one. Talking about the current track and not my wishful thinking... in any case... AsYa has to come together at last. Their relationship is at a stage that one has become the part of other and they need to overcome their short-comings and flaws and understand that nothing more is important than each other. Asad and Zoya are both scarred and cheated by their own people... their healing process automatically began when they came together. Her most important purpose of life fell on the back burner while he was changing for her. Without each other they can never be themselves. Their happiness lies in each other and they need each other to survive. So in my opinion we can't blame a single person for the mess and question whether one is worthy of another or not. Had it not been their fate... Zoya wouldn't have collided with the one man in whose house she was going to take shelter and then proceed to become the sole owner of his heart. And this relationship was and is too pristine and soul-rending to break them now.
But what I fear is at what cost are we going to get them back? While the characters have been damaged, I hope they don't fret with the sanctity of this association... because then it would hold no meaning. Ever since the Nikah fiasco they seem to be treading a very thin line on this ground. Though I am positive that neither Asad nor Zoya can ever fall for anyone else and would always come back to each other... I sure don't want the CVs inducing further harm to AsYa to prove this point coz that might prove to be the final blow.
High Time Cvs! Put your thinking caps on and pull your act together to not only bring the story back on track but also to bring back the logic and rationality into the storyline that would justify your creative intelligence with which you began this show!

Sonia 😳
