yes, it's not a big deal to fast and work , I was only trying to say that if RK doesn't want his wife to fast, therez nothing wrong in it..however , if she wants to fast, therez nothing wrong in that also...both their egos got involved when Radha & later RK challenged her that she cannot fast bec. she has to shoot the whole day..and RK's ego was hurt bec. Madhu was adamant to prove tht she can perform both the roles perfectly (heroine and wife) while RK wants her to sideline her housewife role temporarily đ
I dont think there is anything wrong in RK wanting Madhu to sideline the role of being a housewife temporarily as its affecting her work, but there is a way to go about it.
and observing a fast for KC has nothing to do with being a house wife or working woman. its got everything to do with her faith as a wife.
there would be nothing wrong in RK not wanting his wife to fast as he doesnt believe in it. but out here he didnt want her to fast not just because he didnt believe in it but more so because he didnt want it to affect the shoot. even that wouldnt be wrong on part of RK, the producer in him not wanting his heroine's personal belief affecting the shoot and causing loses. What was wrong was RK trying to sabotage her fast even after she reassured that she would go through the shoot despite the fast without any problems, which she did. what was wrong was him deliberately changing the schedule to shooting scenes where Madhu as Anamika needed to eat. Just coz Madhu is a heorine doesnt mean she becomes unprofesional if she keeps KC so long as it doesnt affect the shoot. He wanted her to be professional and yet what he did was totally unprofessional and unethical as a producer and a husband too.
She fulfilled her part by shooting for the original shift despite the eating scenes. that itself proves she can manage both KC and shoot. So the point he was trying to make no longer matters. Madhu did end up proving that she couod manage the role of heroine and wife (not housewife) perfectly.
but his ego couldnt let it go and he proposes the idea of double shift.
