If you use Google Chrome browser , than there is a really great application , which will get added in your Extentions list . It allows you to take screenshot of your choice & even in many shapes as well . And you can do many more things with your screenshot as well.

There are more options available there . And this option is for you if you use Google chrome.

But here is some other methods Normally windows 7 and 8 and vista too I guess have a software called snipping tool pre-installed in it. You can use to screen capture even on normal window screen and not just the browser.
If you are not using windows 7 you have a print screen key on key board .You can press it when you want to capture something.Then you can go to some image editing software like paint or photoshop and paste it on a new page.
