I don't say that love can not happen twice or more than once, but the kind of love Saras and Kumud have, happens only once in a lifetime, so in that respect I am confident atleast from Saras' side that he can never fall in love again with any other girl, least of all Kusum who will be a constant reminder of Kumud..

Well said but problem kumud hai joh saras ko teen shabd bolegi 'tujhe meri kasam' n saras will have no choice but marry kusum for whatever reasons or he will do it to protect kumud n yahaan toh once shaadi hogayi Phir koi chaara nahin hoga as kusum will 'accept' saras hence no divorce shivorce.

I know what you mean lol But ironically the good thing is that Kusum is in love with Saras unlike the novel, so now if she agrees to marry Saras it won't be ''sacrifice'' for her sister.. it will appear morally unethical and wrong.. unlike before when she proposed the idea of lying about their marriage to save Kumud.. now she can't do that.. feelings have changed hence motives are no longer so ''pure'' and ''sacrifical'' in nature.. so in a way this whole new angle may actually turn out to be in favor of Saras Kumud union in the end
