Good point leaves.

What you wrote is quite ambiguous, the degree varies from person to person. Sometimes relationships pass through thick waters and that's how they get tested. Sometimes we just have to ignore and concentrate over our own work waiting for a better time to come. If this continues for years and children are involved then it could prove fatal to relationship

But before taking this final step one has to think over all consequences.

I am not referencing shiv here.
I am talking about hardened males who just dont have any empathy towards women they marry from the beginning. They think she is there to produce sons, cook and clean.

I got you meaning leaves. That's why I said its ambiguous. It depends on the severity of the relationship.

I remember long long back there was a serial on TV "SwayamSidha". I was a little girl then. The protagonist (lady) was married in a well-to-do family and had a kid too. However she left her husband as he had no empathy towards her. She started living on her own and people start casting evil eyes on her. People despise her for her status. I was literally scared to death watching that episode. As I said I was a child then. Even many ladies of my house said, she should have coped with the marriage. It's a minor problem

Many Indian males are that only dear. And most of the Indian married women are kind of trapped with family, kids and financial dependence.

I think they should try to find a diversion for themselves; may be some job which would get them their identity and some "ME TIME".

But I don't know whether they should go ahead with divorce. It all depends upon the severity 😊

its mostly because of the society that we live in !

my friend got divorced a year back...it was done on mutual consent...then she left the country to pursue higher education...she is very happy now 😊...her parents, friends have fully supported her.

i think parents are now more aware & do support their daughters if they are in serious trouble.

Well I am much happy for her now, though I don't know the reason. She should take her time and find another partner with a peace of mind. After all, life does nor behave roughly always 😊
