Whenever I see the serial, I wonder why Ami is given so much more importance by the family.

Fine, she needs more encouragement as she can't concentrate on her studies, misses her dad, etc but hey, Khushbu does exist.

Even in today's episode, when Shruti finally started having a nice one-on-one with Khushbu, her mind went to Sanjay's call and she stopped. Khushbu seems to take all this very maturely but is that actually fair on her? It is obvious that she is just a small child the way she was upset when Ami and friends excluded her from the dancing group and she cried when she did not win the first prize or garba.

Am I the only one who feels bad for Khushbu?

Great post by u dear & I agree to all that u have said ...

It seems this show ka main character is Ami ... that's why all focus is on her & her teenage issues , etc ..

P.S I don't like both the kids nor the actors .. 😆 I watch this show for Manav - Gautami's acting & chemistry ... 😳

Nice post... I guess they are rushing to the marriage because they might show post-marriage issues with the kids in second marriage... let's see... in last few episodes have indicated that khushboo will accept sanjay easily but not Ami... this will reflect in all relationships... khusboo deals with things more maturely than Ami... I guess her bonding with Sanjay will be great & that's how this issue will get solved.

The story seems to be centered around Ami thus more importance is given to her. She will kick up a storm against this remarriage

Manav-Gautami are just too awesome.. I find Ami annoying and maybe that is why I don't understand why she is given so much importance - even when Sanjay or Shruti praise her, I feel it is so wrong as she does not deserve it😆

I prefer watching Khushbu's maturity than Ami's OTT actions, plus the way everyone goes out of their way to accommodate her bugs me..

You are right.. It is just to lay the path for issues that can come up post-marriage. I hope that does not drag on as I don't want to see her stupidity in the name of cleverness and Shruti-Sanjay cover up her nonsense saying she is missing her father

I am surprised that she did not kick up a storm as she overheard what neighbours have been bitching about Sanjay-Shruti

well, the show was promoted as one focusing on ami and her issues. so partiality is justified to that extent. the promos indicated that noone could understand what the teenager is facing etc etc.
Now, based on the ratings, zee may shift focus to sanjay-shruthi(who i love). But, just thought i'll mention what the serial was projected as.

The fallout of excessive attention on ami, and khushboo thus feeling neglected, could give the writers a sub plot to be explored later. :-)
