#3 : An Unexpected Phone Call

life suddenly seemed so meaningless until...

back to those dull days..
back to ignoring someone..
life suddenly seemed so meaningless until...
The fashion show was a huge success..I saw a lot of my clicks in the newspaper next day...
what came as a pleasant surprise for me was that the Infamous Photographer was kind enough to actually Mention my name in one of his interviews...praising me and my work ...I was caught off-guard and was patted on my back by my Mentor and Inspiration JJ sir, My Father , my kid Bros Shubh and Pidhhi both hugged me tight...it was a special moment...and yet...there was this awkwardness which wouldnt go...Panchhi like always was extra sweet with me even bought a cake for me which we all happily ate...RV gave me a brotherly pat and a huge ear to ear GRIN...everywhere around me was an overwhelming joy...a proud moment for one and all...I was smiling too from the outside...but inside I somehow felt incomplete...alone even amongst the crowd surrounding me...maybe because somewhere I knew this happiness was short lived...

The next couple of days mainly went uneventful...rather dulll...I kept avoiding HER..she kept being the prick she can be most of the times ...If not anything else I knew onething my hatred for her had only increased...I was feeling particularly low one night thinking about OUR good old days when my Phone suddenly rang in the middle of the Night!!
who could be calling me sooo late at night , I wondered...it was an unknown number..I hesitated but finally picked up...and THE voice I heard made me SMILE...heartily...
" Kayyydeee !!! did u forget me already ??? haan haan..now toh u are a HUGE celebrity why will you talk to me???Autograph please "
I couldn't help but chuckle.." hey JUHI...ofcourse I haven't forgotten u but I think u certainly have...u 're the last one to wish me BTW"
" OMG!! The Keshav Desai talks tooo...and teases tooo...are u okay???"
God this girl...can make me laugh alright I let out another hearty chuckle and we kept talking to each other for another half an hour or so...
