Rithvik Dhanjani - Arjun of Pavitra Rishta: As a child, I used to go out with my father every Diwali to shop for crackers. This used to make me very happy and I still cherish those memories. Every Diwali I make it a practice to gift sweets and diyas to all of my friends. I don't usually burst noisy crackers like bombs and rockets, but prefer lighting up anaars, chakrees and phuljhadis that are not noisy at all. The decibel level of bombs and the smoke they emit is destructive not just to the environment but human health and well being too. That is why I don't think there is any kind of fun in bursting noisy crackers!

Asha Negi - Purvi of Pavitra Rishta: I have always loved this festival of lights. Making rangolis and ofcourse bursting crackers is so much fun! And we also tend to have a small celebration on the sets of Pavitra Rishta as well. It is like one big happy family! The huge variety of sweets that one has at home makes this my time of indulgence as it is the only occasion I get to spend time with my family and close friends. Of course, as always, the year's celebrations depend on our shoot schedules although I do plan to definitely spend a day with my family and friends.

Thanks a lot for the article and the thread Huma!

Even I prefer lights of anaar and sparklers instead of those deafening bombs!

Hope AshVik enjoy this Diwali to the fullest :)

Thanks for sharing, Huma!
I agree with RD abt the noise level, its ear shattering! Its bad for seniors and little kids too! The horrible sound of those bombs can shatter their eardrums! But anaars and phuljharis are real fun!
Asha as usual mentioned food! 😆 Happy Diwali to both of them! Probably NB6 will start by then...
