Having grown up in the US, I always associated "Hawaii" with the fun and cute tropical state. However, today, I got to see a different Hawai--this is an animal. I thought he was such a cute elephant. And the way Jalal handled and loved him was so great to see! I was very touched by that scene.

hunting animals is not only a sport it was for war practice

but when it comes to pets he treats them like family members

great jalal thinking like modern 21st century person and treating animals with so much love and care as to risk his life to save his pets life 👏👏

but akbar's fav pet was a cheetah named madan kali who was allowed even in durbar and when he would be in meetings with people(like ambassdors) this pet of his would walk and sit near the throne at his legs(painting in akbarnama). He would also feed this pet of his with own hands like how we feed our pet dogs nowadays. 😃

Wonder what those ministers and ambassdors thought about madan kali's presence in the court/audience hall? They may be too terrified to speak much in presence of this pet 😆
