Pre-recorded?

I used to have a strange suspicion that the songs sung by the FG contestants are pre-recorded in a proper recording studio. And on the stage, they only lip-synch while focussing mainly on their so-called "performance", which essentially was dancing!

However, on Wednesday, when Rex, Mona and Kirti were singing in Crossroads Mall, my suspicions were confirmed. Atleast twice I observed Mona and Kirti with their mikes far away from their face and their voice still very loud, as if they are still singing in the mike.

These guys are well trained to pull it off, but in a loose moment, the lapses can be caught.

And if these people are only lip-synching, it makes a mockery of the so-called talent to "perform", that is, DANCE WHILE YOU SING!!!

Any one has any views on this?

anyway. i noticed something similar last time when that arijit kid was singing. he after he had made his long word and puleld away the mike you could still hear the word in speakers for some hours after.....

I dnt think so...!! i mean...its not dat evrytime u feell dis way..wat u have pointd out..! look..! on dat India's independence day performance.-----all u knw very well..abt da mike controversy...n issue dey created!! look..dat day..arijit was singing livee! i mean dat wasn;t at all a lip-sync performcne..! 'coz its very obvious dat when he was singing da parts of da song.antara i mean..da l,ines after strting of da song..when he just holded da mike a bit away from his mouth!! i 2 clealry saw dat k ...wen da mike ws away from his mouth during dat moment--his voice was like ...up n down---sumtimes lOw..SUmtimes..High..1! y??becuz da mike wasa not being held properly by arijit..! dats y sound was sumtimes coming low n hig..dats y also javed saaheb said k jo smjh mein araha tha! wo inhoon se acccha gaya..baqi to smjh mein nai aya!!----------to here da point is k evrytime its not like dat k its pre-recorded...!! specially voting k liye to its nit like dat..kyonk wo usi waqt gatey hain..only muzik is from behind and dey sing it fully live ...!!! --hope it clears--m not fully saying k u r wrong.! but jst dat it doesn not happebn evrytime..i 2 felt k kabie sound peechey se ati hai....unk boln k bad b but...who kwns? mayb kabhie kabhie it does happen-------!!

I dont think the songs are pre-recorded. If so then nobody would have had the Nervousness they show on the stage. I am sure they perform live on the stage. I think SONY people do some video and sound editing to all the clips they air on the episode. They do all this editing to make the show interesting.
I have also noticed some echo sounds at the end of lines in the songs. Definitely these echo sounds are not created by the contestants. These are for sure after the fact editing effects.

dewan_arun, i completely agree with u!! I was telling this to my bhabi! we observed that too!!!

i think in fg regular programme they don't do lip-synch but i noticed aug 27 asma ke par concert shamit and arpita did one together and they just danced and i was sure they are promoting x factor to turn down qazi and qazi really sang.Live performence should be live other wise we can turn on radio and listen.Even in new york when we go to concert sometimes its just lip synch.People don't notice but i can see no orchestra and singer is singing good.They should tell before its not live.In asma ke par concert shamit was so besura and tired singing yeh lamhe but with arpita he just danced.

omg..i thought i was the only one who thought that. but now im sure that they do lip-singn rather then real singn. i knew it was too good to be true. i always wonder how could they sing that good but now i knw that they record the songs b4 hand,,, 😡

during the asma ke par concert, shamit nd arijit were singing kero mama or sumn(sorry bout my spelling), nd u could CLEARLY hear anubhav's original voice in the recording whenever arijit lipsynched it.... 😆 i was like awwww poor anubhav, but his voice lives on!!!

I don't think the songs are pre-recorded... may be for concert...but apart from that.. I don't think GALA songs are pre-recorded and they are just lip singing.....

If it's pre-recorded.. no one should come in danger Zone....
