| Guess what's keeping Rajeev Paul busy after quitting Karam? Anchoring! And it's not any sports event or religious show we are talking about. Rajeev is busy doing live stage shows in colleges and award functions besides performing at weddings. Though Karam... was giving him a good monthly pay packet, Rajiv developed an interest in anchoring after hosting an episode of Nach Baliye 2. "The response I got was very positive," he says. Post-Nach Baliye he approached management students of two colleges and requested them to do a survey on what viewers would like Rajiv Paul to do. "The finding of the survey done by 500 students was that people wanted me to host TV shows and do negative roles in serials," reveals Rajiv. "I have a different style and I can manage it well. There are not too many good TV anchors and there is hardly any competition." So be it college dos, weddings, birthday parties, private functions, charity shows or high profile stage shows abroad, Rajiv does them all. "I will be doing a show in Pune next month and then I have two shows lined up in Maldives and Dubai," he says. Looks like the anchoring bug has really bitten him hard or he has taken the survey seriously. |
