I really hope the legal issues come up along with this court case. Jagya got married 4 times -and I am so confused about whom he is married to right now. He got married to Gauri thinking that his marriage with Anandi is not accountable in the court of Law but it happened to be legal. He got a divorce from A but was his marriage with G legal after the divorce? After Ganga and saat phere drama 😲 who is Jagya's legal wife?

I feel after his divorce with Anandi, his marriage with Gauri should be legally valid... (dont know much about family law though).
Ganga should be his illegal wife in that case.

Jagya married only three times - not four times. His first marriage with Anandi became legal after they attained majority. His marriage with Gauri was not legal- still they spent considerable time together and if Gauri goes to court - they may grant her relief like maintenance or legal status to their child (if she has his child). No proper closure of his relationship with Gauri may pose some problems but he is living in orthodox society where they do not consider legal issues, if his family is fine with his leaving Gauri without thinking whether a divorce is necessary, then nobody in Jaitsar will ask such thing. With Sanchi it was only engagement (not marriage) and now he is married to Ganga. After his divorce with Anandi - at least for his family and Jaitsar people his marriage with Ganga is legal.

actually spuja,
he got married three and a half times. 😆😆

his childhood shaadi to gauri has to be counted also... because phere and sindoor happened at that time too. Then the mahapanchayat broke the gathbandhan and declared it valid.

I hesitate to call that a full wedding per se.

There was a forum member woman11, and she had referred to it as a 'half shaadi'... of little jagya and little gauri. so I loved the 'half'.

Therefore he has been married 3.5 times 😆😆

More than the legality of his shaadi to ganga, I hope he legally adopts manu as his step son... otherwise there will be problems going forward.

marriage to ganga does not automatically make manu his own son. there is a procedure to be followed.

@I was also thinking about the same. But unlike marriage to Ganga, adopting Mannu may pose legal problems. Ganga got divorce and so was free to marry anyone. But when he goes for adoption of Mannu - his father/grandparents can contest the case - if they come to know of it. Ganga-Ratan divorce does not mean Mannu's father is not his father anymore.

yes, but if they proceed with adoption procedures now -- the fact that rattan is in jail can make him an 'unfit father' in the court's eyes and the court can give custody to jagya - a responsible and stable man (this is assuming that jagya doesnt end up in jail too 🤣) .
while adoption will not necessarily strip rattan singh of his biological rights to manu's paternity ... it will certainly give jagya equal rights.

Once legal authorities realise from his character check that J has an unfortunate habit of dumping every girl he either marries or gets engaged to I don't think they'll be so keen granting adoption knowing he could run as soon as he finds the next girl😆

Jagya may have put many sindoor in women's forehead than any man in TV history but he was only legally married to one.And that is Anandi. And that is only because they were constumeted their marriage as adult. which meant he accepted her as his wife.

Now his Marriage to Ganga is legal too because he and Anandi are divorce.

Gauri's Balika wedding with Jagya is totally illigal on two grounds. traditionally and legally. reasons? one is that he is already married and two that they never stayed married.

Gauri's second marriage is also illegal because Jagya is a married man already...and their whole staying together is also illegal because he was leaving with his mistress. if they were both single then it would have been a different thing altogether.

As for the issue of Maanu, if Ganga was given full custody of Maanu (which i believe she is) then Ratan Singh and his family have no right to decide if Jagya can adopt Maanu or not. hence they cant stop him by law.
but yes! he has to legally file Maanu's custody.
Part of me is a little Happy that Jagya is going through all these problems, because it will serve is warning to many idiots. who think that they can do what ever they want without thinking or punishment.
In a way all those things we said should happen to jagya is really happening to him now. God is punishing in for his past sins.

But i hope he wins, because he is really a changed man now who has responsibilities to his new innocent wife and child. For Gangas seek i have forgiven Jagya and i hope he finds peace in his life so that he can focus no her and Maanu.

by the way i cant wait for Gauri re-entry because unlike Anandi, Ganga will not take her crap. but i am sure Ganga will also love Jagya's baby with Gauri just like she loves Maanu.

I cant wait to see these family-of--four leave happily ever after.

@srkluvr,
yes, but you forget that ratan singh himself has had three wives all of whom who have left him 🤣🤣🤣 ... but it is a fact that jagya has stolen a march over ratan in terms of number of wives, so you may be right that ratan might appear more stable of the two in comparison since he lags behind by half a wife. 🤣🤣🤣
