Yashodhan Rana To quit Maharana Pratap

Yashodhan Rana, better known as Maan Singh of Contiloe Telefilm's Maharana Pratap aired on Sony Entertainment Television is undoubtedly one talented actor.

Yashodhan has been appreciated by one and all for his characters in various shows. However, it looks like the audiences won't get to see much of this artist in the historical saga Maharana Pratap anymore.

If you're wondering why, let us tell you that Yashodhan has put down his papers and quit the show. The actor was not happy with the way his character was progressing in the show and he decided to quit the show. But there's also good news for his fans as we hear that he has bagged an important cameo in Sahara One's Niyati.

When contacted, Yashodhan says, "Yes, I have quit Maharana Pratap as I was not happy with the way my character was progressing and I didn't see any future of my character in the show. I had a lot of expectations when I joined the show. Maan Singh is one of the most important people in Maharana Pratap's life. He was his mentor and played a pivotal role in Maharana's life but as promised the makers of the show could not do justice to my character and soon my track got sidelined. So I decided that it's best to quit the show because as an actor I started losing interest in the show. Also the conditions in Aam Gaon were bad and very uncomfortable."

On being asked about his new role of DCP Vijay Rathod in Niyati, the actor says, "I entered the show last night and I will be the surprise element. My character Vijay Rathod will be a knight in shining armor for Niyati and Ishwar. The male lead Ishwar will be put behind bars and I will rescue him. I am playing a very dynamic role and I am looking forward to it."
