Actor studies earlier works of actresses to prepare for her role; looks at Aishwarya and Madhuri for inspiration.

"Each of his characters has been so special and memorable if you look closely every character has her own life and journey; I hope my part is also remembered and loved as that of Nandini, Paro or Chandramukhi's." says Deepika.

In Nagada sang dhol Deepika kind of looked like Aishwarya.

They have way more expressions on their face that Deepika did in Nagada. Dancing isn't just about jumping around, it about the expression especially in a traditional dance.

Deepika looks AMAZING in the Gujarati look for Ram Leela I think each of the characters have their own distinct look/personality, why compare?

Nandini and Leela may seem kind of similar but Leela seems more badass

does garba and dandiya needs expressions to dance?...well having seen most of the garba and dandiya dances for Navratri...expressions on the face is the last thing come in the mind...this traditional dance is more on energy...the expressions is coming from the footwork rather than facial...when people turns round and round in a garba dance or the sticks blocking the way of facial expressions...who witness facial expressions to dance...when all the expressions comes in the form of footwork and energy...

Ash's Dholi Tharo and Deepika's Nagada Sang Dhol...both are different in many ways...Nandini in HDDCS dancing in happiness with her beloved Sameer(Salman)...the man she loves...the man she dotes...the happiness is visible in her eyes...Dholi Taro mostly captured Ash's eyes...which was expressive...and seriously even when she dance on the song...i never really saw her facial expressions but her footwork which was expressing tremendous energy...her energy and footwork in the song expresses her expressions how much she is happy in the song...

Deepika's Nagada Sang Dhol...its more on fiery...fiesty side...Leela is dancing to the expressions of anger...agony...pain...which is beautifully portrayed by Deepika in her dance...Leela is dancing to teach someone a lesson(her mother)...everyone in the song looks pissed off even Ram(Ranveer)...its not a happy atmosphere...more than facial expressions...her jumping around portrayed all the expressions...in this song...SLB captured mostly Deepika's dance...and he puts all the facial expressions elements into her footwork and energy...

thats the reason why i don't compare Dholi Taro and Nagada Sang Dhol...both are really different in terms of the energy...footwork...atmosphere...when i see both the songs...facial expressions is the last one to come in my mind..
