Khushi knew Arnav was giving her worried glances now and then. She finally turned towards him and said...Im fine Arnav ji, plz dont worry.

Arnav didnt say anything just drove home and when the car came to a stop he said...Dont move...

Arnav got off the car and opened her door and bend in to unbuckle her belt then scooped her in his arms despite her protest...Went in and settled her on the sofa and turned to Shanta bai and said... Make some soup for her plz and Ill call the doctor...

Khushi caught his hand and made him sit beside her and said...Im fine, I dont need a doctor... You know me I faint now and then...

Arnav...Yes, you do have a habit of fainting on me, but I have never seen you so sick like you were yesterday morning...

Shanta bai smiled and Arnav starred at her and asked...Why are you smiling?

Khushi...Shanta bai, get me a glass of water plz...

Arnav looks at Khushi and says...Let me call the doctor...then ill be at peace...

Khushi...Look im fine, you better go to the hospital, Di will be awake now and she will be looking for you. I promise you, if im not well again, you can call the doctor...Plz ask the doctor why did this happened with Di...

Khushi had to force Arnav out of the house, with this assurance that she will be fine and will look after herself...

Arnav walked out the house and gave strict instructions to Shanta bai and OP to take care of Khushi...

Shanta bai came with the soup and said...When will you tell him?

Khushi looked at Shanta bai and said...He already has so many worries, if I tell him now, he will not only freak out, but will tie me to the bed...

Shanta bai laughed and said...That is true...He loves you very much, you are a very lucky woman...

Khushi blushed...

Hospital...

Arnav reached the hospital and found out that Shyam had taken over everything. No one was allowed to meet Anjali, even Nani ji, Mami ji and Dadi were sitting outside the room. Arnav was also allowed to see her only for 5 mins and then he was asked by the nurse to leave.

Arnav was very upset, he called the doctor and asked him what was going on and why had this happened with DI. The doctor refused to answer saying...Its the patients rights to privacy, he cant disclose any information to anyone.

Arnav was very angry...Nani came to him and said...My dear, this is their wish. What can we do?

Arnav knew his Nani was right, what more could he do, this is how his Di wanted it to be, so be it. They all sat outside the room for many hours, then when they were assured that Di was fine. They returned home.

Shyam's flawless plan had worked...He smirked when he saw Arnav trying to talk to the doctors to get info on his sister...But no...Shyam had taken care of it all... He had tricked Anjali, like always...A poor kid near the temple (a set up of Shyam wa) had forced her to buy a herbal medicine and Anjali being a soft hearted had bought it and had been taken the meds and now she got the result of it...

Shyam had dumped all the blame on that seller and on Anjali...Crying to the doctors that his wife never listened to him and now see what had happened... Then he went to Anjali and said... Rani sahiba...How could you be so careless? Cause of your careless behaviour, we have lost our princess...

Anjali had been shocked...She was confused...hadnt Shyam ji made her buy that medicine? She started to cry and Shyam conforted her and told her not to tell anyone about this...Or they all will blame her and call her bad luck for the child...Anjali was already hurting from the loss of the baby and now she was being blamed for the loss of it...

Anjali...Now what Shyam ji?

Shyam...Rani sahiba...I am totally broken...I lost what I wanted the most...I have explained to the doctors...They wanted to make a police report, I have done all that...We will never find that kid who sold you the medicine...But we paid for it...A very heavy price...

Anjali started to cry... Shyam went close and comforted her and said...You dont listen to me...I hope now you will...You are not lucky when it comes to babies...So for now, keep away from them and dont even think about them...

Anjali was very sad...She started to blame herself and started to consider herself as a bad omen for babies...

Di was in the hospital for three days. Arnav and dadi would go and visit her and return home. Khushi stayed at home.

Arnav would return home very upset. But Khushi made sure he was comfortable and would sooth and pacify him...

A week went by and Di was much better and had returned home. Nani and Dadi were both sitting in the sitting room at Arnav's house, looking at Khushi...

Khushi...Whats the matter? Everything ok?

Nani asked..You tell me, is everything ok?

Khushi looked at Dadi ji and then at Nani and nodded...Aa..ya all fine... And she started to get up to escape...

Dadi..Sit down and why are you hiding it? You think we wont know if you dont tell us?

Nani...And have you told Chotey?

Khushi looked at both of them and worriedly said...No, I havent told him... Putting her finger in her mouth... How do you guys know? I haven't told anyone...

Both Nani and Dadi started laughing...Well, we know from experience... When will you tell Chotey that another Chotey is on the way...

Khushi blushed and said...Arnav ji was so worried about Di, and if I tell him then he will worry more, Im not hiding it, Im just waiting for the right time, thats all...plus Im shy and shocked...its too early and I dont know what to do?

Dadi laughed and said... Dont worry dear, just relax and tell him whenever you are ready, it will make him happy.

Khushi nodded...

Nani ji... Have you been to a doctor?

Khushi...No, Nani ji, not yet...

Naniji made Khushi sit next to her and hugged her and said...Im very happy for both of you, but keep it low for a while..Manoorma and Anjali wont understand it. But do tell chotey and go to a doctor...

Khushi smiled and hugged Nani...

After lunch, Nani n Dadi retired to their respected rooms for the afternoon nap. Khushi had no work and her teacher had taken few days off, so she also went to her room and was lying on the bed and thinking...How do i break it to Arnav ji...

Last night he was so worried about Di...He had asked the doctor the reason for the miscarriage, but they had refused to answer him. She had no idea how he will react to this news...Will he worry? Will he be concerned or happy? Khushi sighed...Well i wont find out till I tell him...So she decided to break it gently to her laad gov...and she smiled...she knew just how she will do that...

Evening tea was served in the garden, it was a daily routine of Dadi and Khushi. Arnav would join them if he were home. Nani was a frequent visitor too these days... They all were enjoying their tea and samosaas. The door bell rang and in came Mami ji..proudly swinging her shoulders...Came and sat beside Nani ji and greeted everyone... but Khushi... Like always she totally ignored her...

Arnav was sitting and watching her...he didnt say anything...Khushi had asked him to tolerate it all, for the family's sake...She didnt want any problems...

Shanti bai came with another hot pot of tea, she was also use to Mami ji coming in frequently for tea and snacks.

At night, Arnav was busy with his video conference. The minute Khushi entered the room with his coffee, his eyes started following her and he started to loose interest in his conference... Khushi could feel his eyes on her... Her finger in her mouth, she walked towards the dressing table and started combing her hair absentmindedly...How do I tell him?? She wondered...

Arnav was watching her, he knew she had been sad about Di and the baby, but today she looked more worried...He excused himself and turned the webcam off and went to his wife...

Khushi was combing her hair and felt arms around her and she looked up... Arnav was standing behind her and he took the comb from her hand and started coming her hair gently and said... Khushi...what is troubling you?

Khushi didnt know what to say...so she said the first thing that came to her mine...I need to do some online shopping...

Arnav...Ok...So whats the problem...You have your own Ipad...

Khushi...NO, I need your help to choose...

Arnav hugging her close, he said...What are we looking for?

Khushi...I need to sit down first...

Arnav led her to the computer and sat and made her sit on his lap...his arm holding her tight...What do you need to buy?

Khushi... A crib...

Arnav typed in crib and said... Ok, we have the cribs here...what kind and what colo..r... WHAT THE?

Arnav's hand froze on the mouse and his arm that was holding Khushi tightened and he asked... Khushi, we have been though this before... You cant be buying it for Di... Are we buying it for Akash and Payal?

Khushi blushed and whispered in his ears... NO, its for our room...

Arnav held her tight and she said...I will faint if you hold me more tight...

Arnav loosen his hold on her and said...Khushi, I think I will faint...

Khushi touched his face and looked into his eyes and smiled...Arnav ji... im...i mean..we are...

Arnav's hand moved to her stomach, caressing it lovingly, he whispered...Pregnant?

Khushi nodded. Arnav could see fear, doubt and worry in her eyes...He knew what she was thinking...

Khushi...Arnav ji...

Before Khushi could say anything Arnav said...Khushi, Im so happy...He kissed her forehead and said... Yes.. Im ok with it...its too soon, but its fine...

Khushi's eyes teared up and she smiled...I love you Arnav ji...

Arnav... And I love you...but now, you will have to look after yourself... NO.. I will have to look after you... We have to go to the doctor...You will not be doing any work...thats an order...

Khushi laughed..But Arnav ji, if I dont do anything what will I do whole day?

Arnav...Rest and look after yourself...Oh Khushi...you have given me the best news in the world...I was so upset and felt so hopeless...You have given me hope...my darling...And he kissed her on her cheeks, her nose and finally her lips...n said...We need to see a doctor soon...

Khushi...Tomorrow...

Arnav...Are you sure? Not right now?

Khushi smiled...No, Im fine...

Arnav...Yes, but you must look after yourself and rest...He picked her up and laid her on the bed and said...Let me turn the laptop off...Kissed her on her forehead and turned his laptop off. He climbed in beside her and gathered her close...His hand caressing her tummy. His lips showering tiny kisses on her forehead...moving his lips to her cheeks...Kissing her whole face...

Arnav...Unbelievable...A baby...I am going to be a daddy...and you a mummy...im so happy Khushi...

Khushi smiled and snuggled in him. She caressed his face with her palm and said...Nani ji and Dadi ji were also so happy...But...Aaa...Naniji said dont tell everyone yet...

Arnav made a face and said...You told them before you told me?

Khushi...No, I never told them...they knew it and when I asked how, they said, experience...

Arnav laughed...So they were troubling you...
